Short information. The program is designed for 15 to 31 lessons a week. General English course is aimed at students who want to improve their basic language skills.

About the course. The 15-hour course provides for the development of skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing, pronunciation correction, learning vocabulary and grammar. An intensive 21-hour program allows you to further concentrate on speaking, listening.

Combined course

Short information. The course is designed for 21 hours of classes per week. The program allows you to combine group work and individual lessons with the teacher.

About the course. The course provides 15 hours of work in a mini-group per week and 6 individual lessons. The first block is focused on the consideration of the basic language aspects. In individual classes, the emphasis is on securing the student's interest in the material, correcting the pronunciation.

Students age: 18+

Requirements for admission: the minimum level of English is the initial.

The result of the training: fluency in spoken English, development of reading and writing skills.

Description of Scola English Exeter

Skola English in Exeter has been working since 1973. The language center is known for its impeccable reputation. Annually, its students on language exams show high academic results. In a private home, students are provided with a room equipped with everything necessary for living, access to a common kitchen and facilities. Meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by the student.

In the residence, a couple of minutes walk from the school, foreign students can live in 1-2-bed rooms with private facilities or on the floor. Additional services include laundry, Internet access. In common use are the kitchen, rest room. Meals are not provided.

Hotel accommodation for 18+ students suggests individual selection of hotel, room, type of service.

The cost of living:

  • Homestay (16+), single room, two meals a day, shared shower - £ 126 per week, bail is taken back (£ 100), a one-time fee charged by the school (not refundable) - £ 50 .
  • Accommodation in the student residence (18+), single room, no meals, shared shower - £ 210 for 2 weeks (this is min time), a one-time fee charged by the school (not refundable) - £ 50.
  • Accommodation in a student house (18+), single room, no meals, shared shower - £ 97 per week (this is min time), a one-time fee charged by the school (not refundable) - £ 50.

Activities Scola English Exeter

Skola English in Exeter encourages foreign students to spend their free time on excursions. In a small ancient city there are many sights. For example, the narrowest street in the world (its width is only 64 cm), monuments of secular architecture (Guild Hall, Rougemont Castle, Guild of Weavers and Fellows).

During excursions, students can visit the seaside resorts of Torbay, rich in Plymouth attractions.

Daily routine
