The Canadian government agency Infosource ranked Toronto Metropolitan University as the best university in the country in the “Undergraduate” category (ranking for 2014). At present, the university provides housing for 850 foreign students. However, it is planned to expand and build new hostels. The school owns its own radio station CJRU and publishes its own newspaper, The Eyoverener.
