Pros and cons of studying in London

There are about 500 boarding schools and about 200 universities in the UK. Most students dream of studying in the capital and largest city of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, London.

London fascinates with its beauty, architecture, variety of cafes, theaters and cinemas, parks and walking places.

Advantages of studying in London include:

  • proximity to Heathrow, Luton, Stansted airports
  • varied leisure program according to interests
  • a large selection of organizations for employment
  • practice and internships in the best companies in London
  • bright and eventful student life
  • large selection of student residences
  • variety of more skilled part-time jobs during vacations.

Disadvantages of studying in London include:

  • high cost
  • a big city means traffic jams, difficult movement around the city during rush hours
  • bad ecology
  • the high cost of public transport.
