The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences is state-owned and is at 2920 place in the international ranking. Among Ukrainian universities, it is in the top and takes 14th place. Education at the university takes place in Ukrainian and English.
From 2009 to 2014, it was an autonomous research university.
The university offers education in 29 specialties of the bachelor's degree and 54 specialties of the master's degree. The teaching staff includes 2600 qualified specialists, approximately 300 professors and doctors of sciences, about 1000 associate professors and candidates of sciences.
Students have the opportunity to participate in international exchange programs.
The University conducts various studies aimed at studying modern scientific issues about the environment, is engaged in the introduction of new environmental agricultural and biotechnologies.
