The land is full of places to visit. However, there are not only amazing and beautiful architectural monuments: we will tell about those that are also little studied by man. Who is involved in their appearance: ancient civilizations or inhabitants of other planets?

Stonehenge ( UK )
The monumental building - a large-scale structure of megalith stones - is located near London. Until now, scientists are figuring out what Stonehenge is, by whom and when it was built.
Back in the Middle Ages, researchers failed to provide an explanation for this object: those who were engaged in its construction, after all, did not have any equipment! The stones lined up in a circle have more than 50 strange indentations on the outside, so for now the purpose of Stonehenge is a mystery. Scientists suggest that the building is a surviving part of an even larger monumental structure.
Egyptian Great Sphinx
Being the most famous monument among the mysterious, the pyramids have remained a mystery to us for many centuries: perhaps these are tombs of antiquity, or maybe large antennas for alien beings ...
The Sphinx guards the pyramid belonging to Pharaoh Khafre. According to researchers, the monument plays the role of a certain symbol. The most mysterious is how it was erected. The Sphinx is made of a monolith - a part of a rock, its dimensions are 70 x 6 x 20 meters! It is considered the largest ancient monument.
Moai Monuments on Easter Island
Someone carved these huge statues in the 1500s BC. (this is the version of scientists). The material for the creation was the rock of the volcano.
Presumably, the figures were erected by the local inhabitants of the island, but it remains unknown how and for what purpose they were created. One statue weighs about 70 tons, each about 10 meters tall. Such a sight is impressive!
Today, almost 400 pieces have survived, but according to historians, there were once nearly 900 of them!
Goseck Circle ( Germany )
Planning a trip to Germany? Then you should see this building!
What is the Goseck Circle? It is a kind of solar observatory made of ditches and walled front gardens. Although the construction was made with the help of improvised means - gravel, earth, wood - the ancient landmark looks well preserved today.
The Circle was first discovered in 1991, and the first mention of the observatory dates back to 2003. Most likely, it was used to observe the starry sky.
Scientists claim that the structure was built in the 10th century BC.
