Kensington Park School brought together the best professional teachers with incredibly high qualifications and significant work experience (including with foreign students and international groups) -all they once taught at the best private boarding schools in Great Britain (for example, included in the TOP-5 on country St.Paul's). Comprehensive support of students, encouragement of initiative and education of clear motivation, combined with an effective, intensive curriculum demonstrates impressive results: students are systematically and productively preparing for admission to the best universities in Britain and the world, passing programs for middle and senior classes. A-level

Kensington Park School is distinguished by a strong and effective academic preparation for middle and high school students, especially at the Sixth Form stage. At school, the main program for children aged 16-18 years is A-level, the gold standard of British education, which gives an opportunity to enter even the most elite and privileged universities without additional entrance examinations and tests.

A-level is designed for 2 academic years. All subjects students choose independently, there is no list of compulsory disciplines here: this makes it possible to prepare as efficiently as possible for enrollment in the chosen faculty and specialty, and pay close attention to the most priority scientific areas. For the first year (AS-level), students choose 4-5 disciplines, of which only the most important 3-4 remain.

Items can be selected from the following list:

  • biology
  • Film Studies (film and film production)
  • Government & Politics
  • chemistry
  • art and design
  • Computer Science and Informatics (ICT)
  • psychology
  • mathematics
  • dramatic art and theater, acting skills
  • French
  • economy
  • the photo
  • German
  • geography
  • English literature
  • higher mathematics
  • Italian language
  • Religious Studies (Theology)
  • sociology
  • English
  • theatrical studies
  • physics
  • business courses
  • Spanish
  • history.

In addition, students can supplement the personal plan and non-exam subjects that they may need to enroll and study at a partner university: for example, if they plan to enter Shanghai Jiao Tong University, they can attend a Chinese language course (Mandarin dialect).

The teachers of the program are qualified, experienced specialists, mostly specializing only in the A-level program and working as examiners at the final tests of this course. In each class there are no more than 10 people; additional training includes thematic lectures, discussions, master classes and useful excursions, visits to interesting museums, galleries and universities.

The school has the opportunity to pass both a classical A-level course with a length of 2 years, an accelerated one-year course, and a 5-semester program (for students coming in January, not in September).

The academic year at Kensington Park School, like in other British schools, is divided into 3 terms:

  • from September 15 to December 15
  • from 9 January to 23 March
  • from 16 April to 29 June.

The cost of training depends on the chosen program, its direction and subjects (the price is indicated for 1 person for 1 trimester and 1 academic year respectively):

Accommodation and food

Kensington Park School students are offered cozy rooms in comfortable residences in central London (almost all rooms are with private facilities):

  • Princess Beatrice House (16-17 years): rooms for 2-3 people
  • Pure Hammersmith (18+ years): private rooms.

These residences are considered one of the best in London for the ratio of comfort, location and security - in general it is practically a 3 * hotel for students from all over the world. Rooms for 2-3 people are cozy studios with small but fully equipped kitchens, toilet and shower room.

Together with the children in the residences there are educators who are ready to help the students 24/7 - they are responsible for their safety, comfort, observance of cleanliness, order and discipline. Students under 16 are not allowed to leave the residence without the support of an adult school staff; high school students aged 16-18 can go to the city on their own, but necessarily with the administrator's notice (students should make a call every 1.5 hours and tell them that they are all right).

The cost of accommodation is paid separately from the general price for the training course (the price is indicated for the term and academic year, respectively):

  • Princess Beatrice House: personal room = 7120 £ / 21360 £, double room = £ 5300 / £ 15900, triple room = £ 4400 / £ 13200 (an additional deposit of £ 500 is additionally paid)
  • Pure Hammersmith, personal room with amenities = 285 £ / week, 12255 £ / academic year.
