Full Sail does not offer on-campus housing or dormitory accommodation, but the university has made agreements with a number of landlords nearby and provides details on nearby accommodations, roommate selection and other important factors.

Activities Full Sail University

A diverse student community is focused on creative expression. Collaboration is always happening here: filmmaking, brainstorming at Jet Fuel Cafe or implementing a game concept brought to life at Blackmoor Studios. Since courses start every month, class sizes are small, giving you the opportunity to truly get to know classmates and teachers.

Culture Shock is an engaging workshop designed to educate students on the developmental path they go through as they transition to American culture. It fosters open discussion, a sense of belonging, and guides you on the path of student success.

The ISS Mentorship Program aims to develop current Full Sail students as leaders, designed to provide an example for incoming students. Student leaders work in tandem with incoming students on a monthly basis, attend seminars, and help them in personal and professional development. Topics: effective communication, building meaningful relationships, Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), philosophy.

OPT Workshop - Discussion of the postgraduate work authorization that international F-1 students are eligible to obtain upon successful completion of the program.

The Student Life and Networking Workshop aims to help active international students connect with available support services, opportunities on campus. The task is to help adapt to the Full Sail environment, improve the approach to everyday tasks, long-term goals.


  • Full Sail takes a different approach to education: it offers accelerated programs and tuition fees include books and lab fees - some of the benefits that students enjoy.
  • Full Sail's reputation in the entertainment and media world opens up many unique opportunities for students.
  • Study programs include the same number of credit hours as traditional ones, but students graduate at an accelerated pace: it can take on average about half the time to complete a bachelor's or master's degree in Full Sail compared to a traditional university.
  • Courses start on a monthly basis rather than on a traditional semester schedule: you can start classes when you are ready, instead of waiting for the next semester.
  • Technology is changing rapidly - new software, hardware and technology are becoming the industry standard. To ensure that your skills are up to date, you can return to Full Sail after graduation and take the current course, subject to availability.
  • Students who complete the STEM program are eligible to extend their OPT by 24 months. The Career Development Department assists students in the job search process by helping with resume preparation and job market research.

Downtown Winter Park is less than 10 minutes' drive from downtown Orlando, with concert halls, clubs and cafes in the surrounding areas where you can sample local cuisine. World famous theme parks and attractions are approximately 45 minutes' drive away.

The space is designed for hands-on learning, ranging from concert halls to production studios, Hollywood buildings, providing students with the environment, technology, and production tools to bring ideas to life.

Lab classes are held around the clock, and courses are updated from month to month.
