Description of University of North Florida (UNF)

The University of North Florida (abbreviated UNF) is an educational institution of a state type in America, which has been actively engaged in scientific and academic activities since the 1972. The main university building is now located on the Jacksonville campus.

It is a medium-sized university with about 19,000 students annually. Foreign students and local residents simultaneously apply for places at the university. Teaching staff consists of 3000 teachers of the highest category.

The academic year at the university is traditionally divided into two semesters. Each student can save a little on tution fees by receiving a scholarship, provided they do well.
