EC English Language Centres is revising its development strategy: the network has made the difficult decision to close two of its centers — in Bristol and Montreal. The Bristol school will close at the end of June, and the Montreal center at the end of September. The company promises the smoothest possible transition for students and partners: learners will be helped to find alternative EC centers, and agencies will be assisted in adapting to the changes without unnecessary complications.
At the same time, EC emphasizes that this does not mean withdrawing from the UK and Canadian markets. On the contrary, the company will maintain a strong presence — four schools in the United Kingdom and two in Canada will continue to welcome students. The decision to close two branches was the result of an in-depth analysis of the entire global network. The main goal is to make the business more sustainable in the long term and to focus resources where they deliver the greatest results.
EC will continue to actively develop its key products: the EC Live online platform remains an important part of the ecosystem, the Embassy Summer and Global Achievers Academy directions are showing steady growth, and new summer programs in Spain and China are launching this year.
