COLBS INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT is a private educational institute offering executive, advanced training and professional high performance studies in Business Management and satellite disciplines. COLBS MISSION STATEMENT

We exists to provide global citizens and students with 1st class British University Degrees studied in Asia. Our programmes are offered in Business Administration and its satellite disciplines from an international perspective at affordable prices, high academic standards, emphasizing on applied practical knowledge, professional competencies and cross cultural integration East-West. Students can choose between 2 options:

• Private room in the city (Recommended).

The accommodation in the city is arranged by the school which holds agreements with residencies. Students will stay in their private room with toilet (1 person only). Some students prefer to stay in the city where they can enjoy local activities, restaurants, museums, co-working spaces, public libraries, nightlife, etc. and live under an urban lifestyle.

• On campus (15-20 min outside the city).

The accommodation on-campus will allow the students to stay in a shared room (most rooms are for 3-4 people) with all services at the Oon Valley Campus 20 min away from the city and in the middle of a great natural and tropical park. This option is included in the tuition fees for “regular” and “special fees” enrolled students. It is a great choice if you are the kind of person who likes to share a room, live with others, make new friends and enjoy nature and outdoor activities.  All students who wish to stay in shared rooms are asked to fill a questionnaire prior departure which states a few questions in order to help us to allocate roommates. Questions to be answered are bedtime, cleanliness, room organization or nationality.  

Important: The programme includes optionally extra professional activities 4-6 weeks between semesters in Bangkok. The accommodation in Bangkok is not included and must be paid by the student. Still the school has arranged an affordable stay for all students in a residency. Price is offered to the student at cost, still students can rent their own places through Airbnb or similar webs if they wish. All details are given in the induction days.

• Term dates: You can enrol during 2 intakes each year. Each year you can start your degree in February or in September.
• Timetable: Full time. Typically, Mo-Th/Friday from 9:00-15:00 approx. 
• Confirm the place at school will cost you about 450.00 USD in concept of Visa Administrative Fee (VAF). Once you have proceeded with this payment it is expected to arrange the yearly fees in two payments before the course starts. 

Extra fees:

• Visa Administrative Fee (VAF) 450 USD.
• Complementary payment of 700-900 USD/year in case student wants a private room in the city.
• In case the student wishes to attend to Bangkok stage during summer time it must pay for his-her accommodation which is typically around 300 USD.
• Students enrolled under “Special Fees” can apply for co-curricular MIT courses for an extra 800 USD/year

1.  Application Submission: ​To begin the process, you will need to submit an online application form and attach all required documents.
2. Acceptance/rejection received
3. Visa Administrative Fee (VAF) payment 450 USD.
4. Deposit Fee payment to secure a place. 20%. According to stipulated deadline. 
5. Rest of tuition fees payment 80%. according to stipulated deadline

You will be notified  about our admission decision 10-20 days after your application. If the decision is positive and you are offered a place to study at COLBS INSTITUTE, you will be required to pay the initial VISA ADMINISTRATIVE FEE (VAF) fee to start the invitation letter and Edvisa process. 

It is important that you pay attention to the payment deadlines as we cannot guarantee your enrolment after the deadlines that will appear in your offer.

Student Visa

It is important that you consult your Thai embassy/consulate in your country of residence for information about the procedure. 

Arrival at COLBS INSTITUTE

Once your enrolment is confirmed and you have the necessary documents to come to Thailand. It is important that you arrive at the start of the programme and attend the immersion days, which will prepare you for the rest of your academic year!

Required documents for undergraduate programmes:

1. Passport Size Face Photo.
2. Copy of Passport. (National ID also valid in the application process but notice that you will need a passport to prepare your visa and travel to Thailand).
3. Official High School Dip. or equivalent and transcript with GPA.
4. English Language Certificate (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 46-59, or equivalent required for non-native speakers). If you do not have the former tests, you can make yours British Council test indicated below (BC*) and attach the score obtained (which must be the equivalent in the IELTS former range) to the online form.
5. One Reference letter.
6. Statement of purpose 300 words.
