Bosworth Independent College (Bosworth College) was founded in 1977 and for more than 30 years follows its main task - a full, effective, integrated training of high school students for admission to universities. The private school in UK is fairly democratic, friendly and free environment: the children here study with pleasure, using the full support of teachers and personal tutors, who give them the whole array of their knowledge, skills and experience. Such an approach brings noticeable results: more than half of college graduates continue their studies at universities that are members of the TOP-20 in Great Britain: Cambridge, London School of Economics and Political Science, University College London and University of Warwick.

Bosworth Independent College appreciates an individual, personal approach: classes are conducted in small classes, each student has his own unique schedule, a schedule of individual consultations and additional lessons. A large number of academic electives are available: for example, international students can attend an intensive ESL English course, anyone can add additional subjects to the GCSE or A-level program in the UK, consult the UCAS system and prepare documents for university enrollment.

English language courses are held in a separate Learning Center, which is part of the college structure. Here, children from all over the world can significantly improve language skills in a short time, as well as pass the AS-level (the first year of the A-level program) in mathematics, economics, and art.

A special program to prepare for Oxbridge, preparatory courses for applicants for medicine or law programs has been developed and is being taught: traditionally the contest for these specialties is the highest, therefore, preparation should be as intensive and effective as possible.

College students have the opportunity to participate in a large number of charitable and volunteer projects (the former can be paid for): this will not only save a little on the cost of training, but also gain valuable practical experience, add an important Item in a personal resume for the admissions committee of universities. The average class size is 8 students, which allows teachers to tailor support to each student's individual needs. Alongside subject lessons, the school develops independent study skills.

Progress of Year 12 students is tracked through written assessments in all subjects throughout the year and end-of-year written examinations. The results form the basis for predicted grades and a support program for subject and university selection. Personal tutors and program coordinators provide individual consultations on the next steps in education after graduation.

International students in Years 12 and 13 have scheduled English language lessons with specialist teachers. University preparation includes weekly workshops for Year 13 students, practice interviews on request, and review of UCAS applications and personal statements by experienced teachers before submission.

Wellbeing support is embedded in the daily life of the school: daily tutor sessions, weekly wellbeing check-ins, and personal meetings with a dedicated pastoral tutor. The school-wide emotional literacy program covers sleep hygiene, personal boundaries and healthy relationships, self-regulation techniques, and stress management. Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) programs are tailored to students' needs, and mindfulness sessions are held for younger students. The school's wellbeing center is staffed by a nurse and a counselor — students can seek help independently, on the advice of peers, or on referral from a member of staff.

Students have access to additional academic events: mathematics competitions, subject olympiads, and the Extended Project Qualification research program.

A 12th-grade student was selected from more than 150 candidates and performed in the final of the ISA Young Musician of the Year competition at Warwick Arts Centre, playing Debussy's Fantaisie for piano to thunderous applause.

The Bosworth Independent College Administration offers students three comfortable and safe accommodation options:

• Host English family

All selected families are carefully monitored by the school's specialists - many of them have been cooperating with the college for many years, so that you can be assured of the offered level of service, comfort and safety. Family members help the student follow the schedule (for example, help them to go to breakfast and not be late for school, make sure that they do not return too late), and provide him with the most comfortable conditions for living and learning outside the classroom (usually a separate room).

• Student Residence

Only available for pupils of 18 years old, who have previously received parental consent. Each house is usually rented for 4-5 people: almost every day a school specialist visits the school, the senior curator visits regularly - students will not get out of school, be lazy or organize noisy parties. A separate house is an excellent preparation for the university: this life helps to learn independence, the distribution of personal time, responsibility and self-discipline. Otherwise, if the student begins to fall behind or skip classes, he is transferred to the hostel on campus.

Bosworth Independent College is an hour's drive from London in the beautiful, developed city of Northampton in central England: nearby are the legendary Oxford and Cambridge, the famous birthplace of Shakespeare - the town of Stratford-upon-Avon . In nearby Milton Keynes there is a large number of shopping malls, cinemas and theaters, and Northampton itself is truly English calm, the beauty of a rural hilly terrain.

A-Level program studies begin in September or January, and GCSE program studies begin in September.

In 2024, 85% of A-Level grades were in the A*–C range. In chemistry, 72% of grades were A*–B; in sociology — 83%; in mathematics — 73%; in history, 100% of grades were in the A*–C range.

In the 2024 GCSE exams, 41% of grades were A*–A and 82% were A*–B. Particularly strong results in history — 90% of grades A*–A, and in physics — 89% of grades A*–B.

Over the past two years, 83% of Russell Group universities have accepted the school's students onto their programs, including Cambridge, Imperial College London, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Students received offers from top-10 UK universities across 39 fields, including economics, medicine, and law.

Science and technology subjects are particularly popular: many students are preparing for medicine and engineering programs. In 2024, four graduates received places on medical programs; other graduate destinations include electrical engineering, civil engineering, biochemistry, pharmacy, and pharmacology.

International candidates undergo rigorous testing in English, mathematics, and cognitive abilities both before enrollment and upon arrival at the school — this confirms the student's readiness for the A-Level program.

To begin studying on the A-Level program, international students typically need an English language test score of at least 5.5 or a recognized GCSE or IGCSE qualification.

Bosworth Independent School awards scholarships for academic achievement and provides financial support based on family financial circumstances.

10 scholarships are available for students from Southeast Asia: 5 cover 100% of tuition fees, and another 5 cover 50%. Candidates must complete CAT4 testing, attend an interview with the school principal, and provide a reference from their current school.

The Francis Crick Scholarship is a named award honoring one of the discoverers of DNA. It is an academic award granted regardless of family income and remains valid until the completion of the A-Level program, provided the recipient maintains strong academic results and a positive attitude toward their studies. Candidates are expected to demonstrate outstanding communication skills as assessed by the CEPT test, successfully complete an interview with the school principal, and achieve a CAT4 average score of no less than 130.
