A new summer school will open its doors in the summer of 2027 on the grounds of Blundell’s School in Tiverton. Key conditions are:
- Expected dates — July, sessions from 1 to 4 weeks,
- Participants’ age — 11-17 years,
- Boarding accommodation and meals on campus,
- Language workload — 15 hours of English per week, small groups, a focus on studying British culture. The English Plus option is available: a more intensive, academic format well designed for those planning to continue studying abroad.
- The leisure program will include excursions around the region: Exmoor National Park, Bath, Bristol, Exeter.
An important feature of this summer course is the Blundell’s Global Challenge project. Students from around the world will examine the most pressing issues of the modern world and look for solutions, while developing communication skills, leadership qualities, creativity, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. This way, session participants will be able to practice English and their spoken language skills through daily communication. For international students, it is also an opportunity to try out the format of a traditional British boarding school and decide how well it suits them and whether they like it for further studies.
