Description of Xi'An Shiyou University
Xi'An Shiyou University ( 西安 石油 大学 ) is an educational institution of the People’s Republic of China that has been active in scientific and academic work since the beginning of 1951. Currently, Xi'An Shiyou University University is conveniently located with its main building, dormitory and campus in Xi'an.
This Chinese University can be attributed to the number of medium-sized, since here, by and large, about 20,000 people take a course each year.

The university structure includes 18 academic institutes distributed across three campuses. The institution admits students to 59 undergraduate programs covering seven fields of knowledge: natural sciences, engineering, economics, management, humanities, pedagogy, and arts. Scientific achievements
The university has established 28 national and provincial/departmental-level scientific research bases, one provincial key science and technology innovation team, and three youth innovation teams of universities in Shaanxi Province, and has formed seven specialized scientific directions, the leading one being the theory, technologies, and engineering applications of oil and gas exploration.
In 2025, the university received 10 Shaanxi Province science and technology awards — for the third consecutive year. The university's staff includes a significant number of high-level experts. Among them are specialists recognized for their substantial contributions to their field, as well as teachers recognized as exemplary at the national level.
