Wesgreen International School was founded in 1991 in Sharjah and over the years has grown into one of the most successful schools in Sharjah. The school has been promoting cutting-edge educational achievements for more than two decades and has been recognized by the Council of International Schools as an accredited school.
Wesgreen International School – Sharjah is divided into four separate sections. The Early Years Campus accepts FS1 and Year1 students. Primary school consists of students in grades 2-6, in which boys and girls study, and students in grades 7-13 are taught in separate middle campuses. At the end of the 5th grade, students go to secondary school for boys or girls (separate education begins).

- Availability of a summer camp
Summer Camp is another fantastic opportunity for growth, allowing students to become self-reliant, socialize, make new friends, and acquire new skills. Summer camps are open from 8:30 a.m., but students can come anytime after that and from 7:30 a.m. each morning for registration. Students will be available as early as 2:30 p.m. each day. Now there are even more sports to choose from: basketball, football, volleyball, bouncers, tag rugby, athletics, badminton, cricket, swimming, rounders and much more, as well as an English lesson with the English language department every morning. All classes take place in gyms. Each student receives a certificate and a T-shirt at the end of the weekly presentation, a chance to win the trophy in the nomination "Player of the Week".
- House System
Each student belongs to the House of Sports: Leopards, Falcons, Snakes and Scorpions. The colors of the houses – red, green, black and white – correspond to the colors of the UAE flag. Students can collect points for their Home, which will be an important driving force behind the reward system. In addition to good behavior, students can also earn points for athletic and artistic achievements, showing effort and perseverance in performing tasks, showing kindness, regarding uniforms and appearance. Each House is headed by a Captain who motivates and leads the House team. Home events take place throughout the year, and meetings are held every semester: there students can meet to discuss past and future events.
- Morality and values
School meetings are held weekly to promote morality and values, the main directions of the curriculum. Certificates of the headmaster of the school are awarded at meetings for academic success, exemplary behavior, sports and creative achievements or for a good deed. Weekly "Star of the Week" certificates are issued by managers.
- Initial Student Council
A student council is a group of elected student representatives consisting of a warden, an assistant warden, senior wardens, faculty captains, their assistants, and eco-warriors. These students represent the voice of all students in the school and influence overall development. The Student Council meets regularly to discuss issues such as activities, sports, resources, schedules, and others, and then presents the issues to the school authorities.

The Department of Physical Education conducts several extracurricular circles each semester to expand the education of students outside of physical education classes. Several sports and activities are offered in the gyms, swimming pool and artificial turf fields for all age groups. Sessions are usually held once a week, games and matches are held throughout the year. These extras give children the added opportunity to hone their skills, truly enjoy a variety of sports in a fun and safe environment with their friends. Classes FS2 and Year1 are housed in a separate building with separate indoor playgrounds and outdoor active learning areas.
