TOP-10 future centers of tourism in 2022

TOP-10 future centers of tourism in 2022

The world organization UNWTO provided a report on the direction in the development of world tourism. Having comprehensively analyzed it, we focused our attention on the countries to which the attention of travelers has grown. In these countries, there are no queues for museums, nature has preserved its original image as much as possible - you can take and go there to see everything before others.

Iceland

This is a unique country where it is not customary to lock the doors in houses, and restaurants and cafes do not accept tips, considering it an insult. Employees can leave the office earlier if the games of the national football team are shown on TV that day. People come to Iceland to see a special nature: many volcanoes and glaciers, healing springs, transparent lakes, clean beaches, fjords. The warmest months are July and August. The whole island can be completely toured in just a week. Rent a car or drive from Reykjavik: every day there are sightseeing buses that will take you along the ring road to the main attractions on the island.

Japan

More than two years ago, Japan facilitated visa processing for tourists from Russia, so that the tourist flow has grown significantly. Skyscrapers and busy intersections are in perfect harmony with centuries-old palaces and beautiful gardens. In Japan, you will learn to value time: many goods can be bought on the way home in street vending machines. Beautiful times of the year are spring, when everything around is filled with pink petals of flowering cherries, and autumn November, when maple leaves change the appearance of parks to a landscape consisting of orange, red and yellow leaves.

Oman

The tourist business in Oman is developing thanks to a beach holiday. The beaches are gorgeous, clean. On the peninsula there are many amazing things: mountain reliefs, unexplored beauty of long-dried riverbeds, stone ruins. Ancient customs are observed here, which have survived unchanged to this day. Since ancient times, weapons have been held in high esteem. Today's Omanians are friendly and hospitable, and swords and sabers only appear during celebrations. You should definitely see the fight of bulls and the running of camels! And, of course, to go on a tour of the fjords.

Seychelles

In the Seychelles, the tourist season is available year-round. In the depths of the ocean grow coral reefs and live the rarest species of marine animals. In the state reserves of the Seychelles you can watch bats, black parrot, see miniature frogs. Only in two Seychelles grows such a rarity as a sea coconut. Its weight can reach up to 40 kg! Outwardly, it looks like two ordinary nuts fused together.

Armenia

Many people love Armenia for its original image. In any village to this day, bread is baked in a toner (a one-and-a-half meter traditional pit), and it may not deteriorate for up to six months. The old part of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is built of pink tuff, which is why it is called the "pink city". Significant sights are located outside the city: Khor Virap Monastery at the foot of the sacred Mount Ararat, Lake Sevan in the mountains. A cable car was laid to the monastery, which is the longest in the world. It runs over the Vorotan Gorge, and when visiting tourists, a gorgeous view opens.

Azerbaijan

The people of Azerbaijan are cordial, and the capital delights with its gloss. Towers with illumination, the center of Heydar Aliyev, the town of "Little Venice", where you will be happy to ride a boat, an equipped promenade 25 km long along the Caspian Sea. Carpets are brought from Azerbaijan as a souvenir - products of local craftsmen, delicious nuts and spices, fragrant tea and oriental sweets.

Mongolia

Tourists love to come to Mongolia in the summer, to the Naadam Festival, which is held every year. The holiday is celebrated in all corners of the country. The idea of this event is to promote the traditions of steppe nomads in the country itself and abroad. At the Naadam Festival, the local population arranges competitions in national sports.

The country has a rich nature: glaciers with clean lakes, mountain reliefs and taiga, where deer graze, turbulent rivers of rafting. Steppes and plains will not let you get bored - in Mongolia all the conditions for riding and eagle hunting. Nature untouched by civilization, monasteries and Buddhist temples scattered throughout the country impress with their antiquity.

Uruguay

One of the smallest countries in Latin America, where some territories are so in contrast to each other that each of them becomes a surprise with many impressions. José Ignacio is one of the most famous resorts in Uruguay. Inside him reigns the cult of slow and tasteful enjoyment of life. Visitors from Europe compare it to Saint-Tropez. In the fashionable area of Punta del Esta, new sparkling yachts stand in the harbor, and the rich invest money in casinos and luxury houses. In contrast, the territory of Cabo Polonio is isolated from modern influence by the complete absence of asphalt and electricity, but it has an incredibly starry sky and the whisper of the ocean.

Paraguay

On the territory of Paraguay there are many full-flowing rivers and numerous reservoirs, green spaces, ecotourism is developed. On the border of three countries - Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay - are the Iguazu Falls. For three kilometers, 275 waterfalls form a cascade, to which tourists from all over the world aspire.

Upstream of the Iguazu River, the world's second largest hydroelectric power plant, the Itaipu Dam, was built. It arranges excursions for everyone and shows a light show.

Bhutan

It's amazing to travel to vibrant Bhutan: the country seems to exist in a parallel world. The Buddhist kingdom measures quality of life by mysterious gross national happiness. In this country, they are sensitive to the surrounding nature and their traditions, and from the invasion of tourists are protected by a high duty on staying in the country. This fee includes your personal guide, meals, accommodation, transport, so that the journey in the end turns out to be profitable. The guide looks after you and tells you about interesting people and mysteries of the country, about local rules more than is written in the guidebook.
