The strangest tourist bans in European cities

Local residents of European cities are extremely outraged by the crowds of tourists, because of which prices for everything rise, and the streets become noisy and dirty. In many regions, a tourist tax has already been introduced, which "scared away" a number of travelers, but someone went further and introduced fines for inappropriate behavior!

Taxes and prohibitions

Many countries - Greece, Spain, Italy, France and others - decided to introduce two types of taxes: tourist and regional. The amount depends on where the person is staying: in a campsite or a hotel. For example, for one night in Paris, a tourist will have to pay from 1.95 to 15.6 euros.

More radical measures were taken by residents of Mallorca, who do not like that travelers walk the streets in shorts, and are often intoxicated. Therefore, it was forbidden to walk naked and half-naked around the city there.

The authorities of Dubrovnik punish people who fall asleep drunk on the street, and those who drink alcohol near public places are also fined.

Residents of Rome are also outraged by the behavior of visitors, so they introduced a ban on walking around the city without a T-shirt, with a bare torso. At the same time, lovers are now not allowed to hang locks symbolizing their eternal love on the bridges of the city - bridges cannot withstand the "power of feelings" and load.

The Seville government wants to charge travelers to enter the city's main square; The ticket price will be around four euros, but this is still under discussion.
