Now you can walk on the highest suspension bridge in the Italian region of Umbria: it is located at an altitude of 175 meters, and its length is more than 500 meters.
The bridge is located between the villages of Sellano and Montesano. A walk across the bridge will take half an hour: you will be belayed, you will look down on the river and forests. But tourists should be prepared for a walk: only those who are not afraid of heights and who have comfortable shoes without heels are allowed there. There can be 90 people on the bridge at the same time. A one-way ticket for such a walk costs 25 euros, a round-trip ticket costs 35 euros.
Previously, there was a series of earthquakes in the place where the bridge now stands. Because of this, many residents lost their homes. The new suspension bridge, according to the mayor, will be the starting point in the development of business in this region.
Would you dare to walk across the bridge or would you prefer less extreme walks?
