Last academic year, educational centers in France taught 430,000 + students from around the world, which was a record in recent years. Against the background of last year, the number of foreign students increased by 3%.
Over the past five years, the number of foreign students in France has increased by 17%, today they account for 15% of the total. Since the opening of borders after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, the increase in students from other countries has been stable from 3% to 5% per year.
In the last academic season, 63% of foreigners were admitted to higher education institutions in France. Business schools enrolled 3% more students in their programs than a year earlier, engineering schools - 4%, arts and architecture - 7%.
