Russian State Agrarian University (RSAU-MCA named after K.A. Timiryazev) is a higher educational institution of agrarian profile.  The university was named in honor of the scientist-physiologist of plants Kliment Arkadievich Timiryazev. In colloquial speech, two names of the university are used: "Timiryazevka" - often among students, Timiryazev Academy.

As a result of the reoranization that took place in 2013-2014, two universities joined the institution: the Moscow State Agroengineering University named after V.P. Goryachkin and the Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering.

Training is conducted in two semesters with summer, winter sessions. The school week lasts from Monday to Friday. Couples start at 8:30, each of them lasts for 1.5 hours. Break for rest, visiting the dining room - 45 minutes from 12:00 to 13:00.
