Summer academic courses at Rumsey Hall School are specifically designed for international students aimed at effective, successful education in schools and universities abroad. During the summer program, students will significantly improve the level of English, update knowledge on academic subjects from the school list, and can have fun, spending time and making new friends from around the world.
The language course is general, universal, the intensity of the lessons is 20 hours weekly. For students who require more thorough preparation, additional ESL lessons are provided (English as a second language), individual consultations can be made. Actively studied mathematics and computer science, improving the valuable academic skills, useful when teaching in foreign schools and colleges.
All academic groups are small - 6-10 people in total (students are divided according to the age principle): this allows faculty to practice an individual approach, giving each student maximum personal attention, more closely monitor his progress and possible difficulties.
Summer academic course will help in a short time to improve general language level (English), and knowledge of basic academic subjects (emphasis is on mathematics and computer science). Small classes of 6-10 people help to make learning more effective, and teachers are allowed to give each student a maximum of personal attention.

The seasonal preparatory course will be an excellent option for foreign students - it is a calm, not tense, comfortable and at the same time effective curriculum aimed at updating and expanding existing knowledge on the academic subjects of the school curriculum. In addition to lessons in basic disciplines (emphasis is on mathematics and computer science) students attend intensive English courses. Foreign students experiencing difficulties can take additional individual lessons or attend ESL lessons (English as a second language).
The vast majority of students in summer courses choose a combined program that provides for placement on the school campus. Here they are waiting for cozy and comfortable residences (children live with their peers, boys and girls separately), as well as boarding three meals a day. Free access to the Internet and access to computer classes are provided.
In their free time students can take part in a diverse and interesting leisure program - fascinating events, games and excursions are waiting for them every day! You can do swimming, big or table tennis, fishing, horse riding, play baseball, lacrosse, football or basketball - regularly held sports games and competitions, friendly matches. Children often go on hikes and walks in the countryside, visit interesting museums, concerts and performances, relax in the cinema and amusement parks.
