RIT Dubai was founded in 2008 to provide world-class university programs in the UAE for students and professionals from the Middle East, North America, Africa and Southeast Asia. Clubs play an important role in the RIT student experience. Joining a club is a great way to get involved in campus life. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers promotes the art, science, and practice of interdisciplinary engineering and related sciences around the world. They organize fun activities and activities for engineering students to improve their solid engineering skills and develop their critical and creative thinking.

• Anime Club

The Anime Club is a place where RIT students can share their passion for anime, manga, VTubers, and everything Japanese. 

• Arts Club

Art Club is an open and free space where all participants reveal their creative potential. In this open and free space, artists create connections with their community, learning and developing new techniques and skills in other artists. The main goal of the art club is to promote and realize imagination and creativity.

The Chess Club aims to spread chess culture so that others can get the opportunity to play and improve their game.

RIT Dubai is currently accepting applications for spring (January) and autumn (September). Staff invite all interested students to apply as soon as possible because the university has a limited number of scholarship places.

The admissions committee reviews each application based on the specific preparation and experience of each individual student. Students will be considered for enrollment based on high school performance, academic specialty course eligibility, demonstrated motivation and achievement, and English proficiency.

Students are advised to apply well in advance and applications will be considered on an ongoing basis.

The admissions process is personal – staff will work with students to help with the application process and notify them personally of the decision and current options. The admissions committee reviews each application based on the specific preparation and experience of each individual student.

The global economy is becoming more and more interconnected, and there is a growing need for well-versed managers and employees to work in the global business market. Graduates usually find positions in multinational corporations.

Entrance exams in mathematics and physics must be taken by all freshmen at the beginning of the semester: this will help determine what level each student is approaching in order to be able to choose the right course within the program.

All students studying engineering and computer security must pass entrance exams in mathematics and physics.

All students studying business and computer and information technology (CIT) must pass an entrance exam in mathematics.

Required documents for enrollment:

• English language test (IELTS, TOEFL or EmSAT) – if available,

The UAE Ministry of Education requires all students to provide all accredited universities with an equivalence certificate. Students studying the ministry curriculum will be exempt from this requirement.

RIT Dubai offers financial aid to up to 45% of students who need financial aid to attend RIT Dubai. Financial assistance packages are provided on a basis of financial needs and include a review of the applicant's financial situation. Documents required:

Types of scholarships at the university:

• Academic Scholarship

This award provides a scholarship to up to 45% of students with exceptional academic background depending on their percentage in high school.

• Dean's Scholarship awarded

An initiative that provides a limited number of students with a 30% scholarship depending on their academic grades in their respective fields of study. To qualify for this award, student grades will be assessed based on the following courses:

• Tiger Journey Scholarship

An initiative that provides a limited number of students (50 places) with a flat scholarship of 25% of the tuition fee for the entire program.

• Athletics Scholarship

Scholarships up to 50% for excellent students with athletic abilities. Students can apply for an athletic scholarship if they are engaged in one of the following sports:

• Football
• Volleyball
• Cricket
• Basketball.

• Scholarship for extracurricular achievements

This award is given to students with exceptional extracurricular achievements (e.g. drama, music, chess) while in school. Outstanding extracurricular achievements offer a scholarship of 5% and are the main criterion for this scholarship. To qualify for this scholarship, a student must prove their participation and leadership in activities or activities that demonstrate outstanding ability, initiative, and dedication.

• Discount for siblings

A student whose brother or sister is studying at RIT Dubai at the same time can receive a discount on tuition fees. This discount is provided in addition to any merit-based scholarships and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
