About the educational program: in the middle and high school students learn a fairly extensive list of subjects (compulsory and additional). All students should have particular number of educational credits for succesfull ending this educational stage.

Brief information: international students, who demonstrate excellent, high academic results, are admitted to the course. This is a more complex program of intensive study of subjects to choose from, practically at the collegiate and university level, so this course is considered a preparatory stage before the training in the university.

About the educational program: most of the higher education institutions give 3 credits for each AP subject, passed at least 3 points out of 5 possible. Many give 4 credits for grades 4 and 5. According to statistics for the last 5 years, 75% of graduates received at the AP level examinations 3 points or higher.

Chaminade College Preparatory School is a private boarding school for boys, accepting children from 11 to 18 years old. The institution was founded in 1910 by the Order of the Marianists, named after the priest William Joseph Cheminide (born in 1761 in France), who is the founder of the Order. In the first year of work, only 7 boys (5,6,8 classes) studied here, and today the institution accepts up to 750 people, approximately 45 of who are foreign students. Chaminade College Preparatory School has the prestigious accreditation of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), is an active member of the National Association of Catholic Education (NCEA).

In young men, personal and social qualities are actively cultivated: virtue, curiosity, critical thinking, independence and purposefulness, encouragement of talents and abilities is encouraged, personal potential develops. Students are taught to be proactive and organized, inculcating the ability to take responsibility for words and deeds. Much attention is paid to discipline, so that students become more attentive, more diligent, more persistent.

Like many European schools and universities, Chaminade College Preparatory School has a House system: each student enters one of five organizations:

Throughout the entire course, students take an active part in the life of their community, compete with others. High school students help the younger ones take care of them, helping the students to adapt faster, to join the social and academic life, to make new friends.

Foreign students attend the ESL course (English as a foreign language): all major language skills (oral and written, listening, reading) are honed in the classroom, which helps to better and more fully absorb the teaching material.

Before the beginning of the classes, international students undergo an orientation preparatory course (10 days), get acquainted with various features and aspects of teaching in the American school - academic, cultural, social, domestic.

Accommodation, meals, prices

On a permanent basis, about 60 young men live in the residence, where there are 51 cozy rooms for boys and 9 rooms for heads, on each floor there are 2 showers, two laundry rooms and 3 comfortable common recreation rooms. Senior students occupy separate bedrooms, students of lower grades - double rooms. The residence is located at just a few steps from the main educational building.

Meals are served in the cafeteria of the Cafe Moe on a full board basis. The diet is varied, perfectly balanced: fresh vegetables and fruits are constantly served on the table, meat and dairy products, chicken, soups and salads, delicious pastries.
