The university was founded in 1958 and specializes in teaching in the field of construction and architecture.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

• Synthesis and development of resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies for the production of building materials, products and structures based on traditional, local and man-made raw materials;

The university provides 4 dormitories for nonresident full-time students.

The educational process is based in two buildings of the university, equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory work. The classrooms are equipped with modern technology: screens, projectors, electronic whiteboards, computers and video and audio systems.

Students are given free access to the scientific and educational library.

For sports, the university allocates a gym.

At PSUAS, the learning process is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

• Successful completion of entrance examinations with scores not lower than the threshold set independently by the university:

  • Foreign language.
