Packwood Haugh School is a co-educational day school and a preparatory boarding school for children from 4 to 13 years old. Packwood has a reputation for emphasizing a comprehensive education, providing a caring environment. At Packwood Haugh School, learning is challenging, fun, and stimulating for all students. The main goal is to instill a love of learning in every child, to give them the opportunity to develop their individual abilities in the best possible way. Children actively attend lessons, developing key skills, helping them cope with future challenges and become independent lifelong learners.

Students succeed through a broad curriculum that focuses on core reading, literacy, and numeracy skills – these are fundamental skills for all other subjects. The whole school supports and encourages reading, for this purpose special libraries have been created for junior and senior grades, where the emphasis is on "reading for pleasure".

Packwood Boarding is a popular option for studying, offering children privacy and flexibility for parents. Boarding school students enjoy a happy, friendly and supportive environment in which they develop, receive high-quality pastoral care, support and stability. Boarding is an important element of Packwood: it can be full board, overnight stays a couple of times a week or a stay for a few chosen days.

Meals at Packwood Haugh School are quality and balanced, all meals are prepared on site and a wide variety of options are available. There is a school nutrition board where students can offer their ideas. Lunch times provide an opportunity for children to sit and chat with their friends and teachers. For breakfast, a wide selection of hot and cold dishes is offered, for dinner children can choose from two options, snacks, homemade biscuits or vegetable cruditis are prepared during breaks, fresh fruit is offered. The weekly menu is varied to ensure balance and a wide variety of dishes that children enjoy.

Sports play an important role in the life of Packwood Haugh School through daily play activities and prepared sports fields. The focus is on each student's participation, a natural pursuit of excellence. As part of the core sports programme, pupils play football, rugby, hockey, netball, lacrosse, cricket, cross-country, tennis and track and field. Children are involved in both the regular school curriculum and internal competitions between teams.

Creativity and performing arts play a central role in Packwood's life. The school hosts weekly lessons where students can develop their creativity, offering many opportunities to develop talents through activities and extracurricular activities. Long lunches are used both to enrich knowledge and to prepare students for scholarships in high school. The school has an orchestra. Each student can work on their own art portfolio.

All students at Packwood Haugh School actively participate in theatrical performances: this helps them develop their imagination and creativity, strengthen their self-confidence through performances on stage. The youngest students, grades 3-5, perform at a series of open meetings, where small performances are played for parents and other students. Students in Year 6 play leading roles in a production for junior grades, receiving support from younger colleagues, and students in grades 7-8 perform in a production for seniors, taking part in a day of "Light, Camera, Action" during which they rehearse and present the play in just one day. High school students have a drama competition called Sixes.

Packwood Haugh School is located in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, on 65 acres of land; just over an hour's drive from Manchester and Birmingham.  The campus is equipped with:

There is a full-size floodlit Astro Turf course, where children can practice their favorite sport at any time of the day, a spacious gym, a swimming pool, a theater and even a golf course.

One of the features of Packwood Haugh School is the forest, which is located on the school grounds - it is a real paradise for children, where they can play and spend their breaks in nature, freely explore the world around them, develop and grow, enjoying a serene childhood.

At Packwood Haugh School, the academic year is designed to ensure that students' learning and recreation are in harmony with each other, ensuring efficient use of time. It consists of three trimesters: autumn, spring and summer, lasts about 10 months, starting in September and ending in June, sometimes in early July. The longest holidays are in the summer: July and August.

Students and parents must take into account additional tuition costs: registration fee, deposit, visa, flight, accommodation and meals. Additional costs will be required for:

• Fill out the registration form, attaching a copy of your passport,
• Online Assessment (CAT Test) – includes verbal, non-verbal, quantitative, and spatial reasoning,
• Interview (in groups) with the director,
• Offer Letter and Acceptance Form (sent within a week of completion of assessment),
• A place is guaranteed after completing the admission documents and paying a deposit (returned upon completion of the child's education at Packwood),
• CAS student visa number, which must be obtained after filling out the documents, making a deposit, and paying for the entire year of study,
• Up-to-date information about students and online meetings with school representatives (summer trimester before admission).

Packwood Haugh School enrolls approximately 215 children each year.

Packwood Haugh School specializes in preparing students for high school admission and advising them on scholarships. Many 8th graduating students receive scholarships to attend their chosen high school, whether academic, educational, athletic, musical, artistic, or dramatic.

Packwood is part of the Shrewsbury School family of schools, with around a third of pupils moving to Shrewsbury at the end of Year 8.

The most popular educational institutions among graduates are Harrow, Winchester, Eaton, Malvern, Sedbergh, Cheltenham Ladies' College, Down House and Rugby, various local schools. Every two years, a high school fair is organized, where you can learn about the educational process in these schools and meet representatives of more than 20 high schools.

The main requirement for foreign candidates is knowledge of English. Most international students will take specialized lessons "English as an Additional Language".

Packwood Haugh School offers a limited number of scholarships for students entering grades 3-6, including those transferring from Packwood Acorns. Additionally, the school offers academic, sports, art/design, music, and additional scholarships for third-party students entering Grade 7.

Usually, the amount of any scholarship is no more than 20% of the total cost, but there are options even more.

The school awards scholarships based on students' current abilities and potential. All Packwood Scholars are expected to actively contribute to the school and become leaders in their fields.
