The National Mathematics and Science College is launching a series of scientific webinars: during the academic year, NatMatSci teachers and scientists will speak on online platforms and explain complex scientific topics in an accessible language for everyone.
The first broadcast of this academic season took place on September 25. The speaker of the online meeting was Dr. Steve Applerd, who spoke on the topic "How close are we to curing genetic diseases?". The doctor told the audience about promising strategies for the treatment of Huntington's disease and sickle cell anemia using genetic and cellular technologies.
NatMatSci webinars are a good way to delve into a specialized topic for further study in foreign schools, colleges, or universities. With the help of these webinars, you will be aware of the main news of the scientific community, you will be able to improve your thematic vocabulary and ask questions of interest to scientists at the end of the broadcast.
Pre-registration is required to attend webinars. Follow the latest announcements on our website!
