Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R.E. Alekseev (NSTU named after R.E. Alekseev) is one of the regional flagship universities in Russia. This educational institution was opened on the basis of the Warsaw Polytechnic Institute of Emperor Nicholas II. The campus includes 6 dormitories. Most of them are located in the vicinity of Lyadov Square, two - on the territory of the sixth building.

The educational campus is located on Minina Street, includes five buildings, each of which is equipped with:

Under the leadership of the university there is a sports and recreation camp "Zhdanovets" on the shore of the Gorky reservoir.

Training is conducted in two semesters with summer and winter sessions. The school year begins on September 1. The school week lasts from Monday to Saturday. Couples start at 7:30-8:00, each of them lasts for 1.5 hours. There is a break for rest, visiting the dining room.
