Programs and prices, tuition fees in Loughborough University Summer Camp
Accommodation, meals, prices
Camp participants are offered accommodation in comfortable residences of Loughborough University, in rooms with private bathrooms. Each student has a bed, desk and wardrobe for belongings. Cleaning is provided weekly. Laundry facilities are available for a fee.
The dining room is located just a 5-10 minute walk from the residences and can accommodate 150 people. Boarding meals (breakfasts, lunches, dinners) are organized, a diet table is organized upon prior request. For all excursions, children receive packaged lunches.

Academic English and IELTS Preparation

30 hours of intensive classes will significantly increase your level of general and academic English, will allow you to prepare for the IELTS exam. This is a great opportunity to strengthen the summer course for those who subsequently plan to enter a British school, college or universities in England.
The program will focus on all the main language aspects:
- Reading
- Listening (listening comprehension)
- Written speech, grammar
- Oral speech, fluency and literacy, getting rid of the accent and language barrier.
Students will analyze the structure and features of the exam, focusing on real IELTS materials for past years, build a strategy for successful preparation and passing the test. Students will learn to write essays of different types, work pronunciation and oral speech, learn how to manage their time and correctly distribute it, expand vocabulary.
Trinity Exam Preparation
- 80£ per person.
Individual and group lessons aimed at preparing for trinity exams, one of the main tests of knowledge of the English language. Minimum set for the start of classes = 30 people. The cost of the exam is paid additionally.
Young Manager Mini Course
- Minimum level to start with: from B1
- Classes of 15-20 people
- Minimum number to start the option: 12 people
- Age: 14-17 years
- Duration: from 2 weeks

The 30 hours of extra lessons for 2 weeks include:
- Development of speaking and listening skills, fluency and communication skills
- Working with written speech in a business and academic context
- Expanding your specific vocabulary
- Development of skills of debate and public speaking, ability to defend their point of view
- Social networks – FB, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, etc.
- Financial Management
- Studying the modern buyer

- Project work in groups + final project with a full presentation.
The program will help teenagers to enter the world of business and management:
- Introduction to the world of business = 6 hours: how to write a resume and pass an interview, interview; teamwork, group dynamics. How to develop a business idea?
- Bringing a product or service to market = 24 hours: teams of 5 people will come up with their own service or product, make an advertising campaign for it and promote "on the market" with other group members.
The winning team will be announced at the final Award Ceremony and will receive prizes!
Classic Plus Dance, Football, Rugby Academy
- Age: 11-17 years
- Duration: 2-3 weeks
- Classes: up to 15 students.
Highly qualified coaches in the football academy conduct two-hour football sessions - 5.7 or 11 games per shift. They consist of warm-up, practicing skills: passing, leading, attacking, defending, selecting the ball. Football competitions and Spartakiads are held. Groups of 20 people, for every 15 people - their own coach, 10 hours of classes for 2 weeks (5 lessons of 2 hours) = 72 £ / person.
For football lessons you will need:
- Sportswear: T-shirt, shorts, sports socks
- Sports shoes
- Water bottle.
If desired, students can use football boots, shin pads or other equipment.
Rugby school teaches skills such as passes, kicks, "corridors", defense. Within three hours, the rules of the game are studied, skills are practiced, a tournament is held. The clothing requirements for rugby are the same as for footballers. Groups of 20 people, for every 15 people - their own coach, 10 hours of classes for 2 weeks (5 lessons of 2 hours) = 72 £ / person.
In the dance academy, students are taught pair dance. Eduaction lasts for 80 minutes with a 20-minute break. Students will learn to dance salsa, hip-hop, jazz, modern trends. Groups of 10 people, for every 15 people - their own coach, 10 hours of classes for 2 weeks (5 lessons of 2 hours) = 72 £ / person.

At football and dance academies, curators invite students to talk to each other in English to improve their level in an extracurricular setting.
Tennis Academy
Groups of 3 people, for every 5 people - their own coach, 10 hours of classes for 2 weeks (5 lessons of 2 hours) = 264 £ / person; individual eduaction = 110£/hour.
The program will allow you to hone personal skills and abilities for both beginners and more experienced players. Professional coaches with LTA qualifications conduct both individual and group classes, allowing them to include tennis lessons in any selected basic camp program.
Facilities and equipment at Loughborough University Summer Camp
Loughborough is a fairly large and developed city in the central-eastern part of England, a 20-minute drive from Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, surrounded by the Soar Valley and the Charnwood Forest hills. 160 km separate it from London (there is a direct railway line), you can get to Birmingham and Sherwood Forest, which keeps the stories of Robin Hood (25 minutes drive). It is a cozy, green place with a lot of both modern and Victorian architecture.
Loughborough University Summer camp is located on the basis of a famous university - by the way, it is the largest university in England, if you take a separate campus! Children on campus will be offered everything they need for study and recreation:
