Brooke House College is located in the cozy, quiet town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire. Brook House College is just an hour's drive from the UK capital. It is located in the most academic region of England. Not far from Leicestershire are Oxford, Cambridge, famous for prestigious universities in Birmingham.
The boarding school was founded in 1967 and is focused on providing traditional British fundamental education. GCSE program includes the study of subjects for 8-9 years of training and provides for the end of the second year of obtaining a certificate of incomplete secondary education. For two years of the program, the schoolchildren need to study three compulsory subjects and pass two of them at the national unified exam. Indispensable for students on the GCSE discipline: English, mathematics, foreign language. Items can be chosen depending on the interest of students from 70 courses. The most common are physics, accounting, chemistry, the legal complex of subjects, literature, economics, management courses (business) and biology. The national unified examination will require an excellent knowledge of at least 3 sciences, most often students will take up to 5 disciplines.
The focus of the GCSE program is on classroom activities. A variant of practical training in laboratories and preparation of personal projects is provided. For independent work and development of research skills Brooke house College allocates academic hours and takes into account these achievements when summing up the results of training. Group activities, tests and classroom surveys also demonstrate the academic success of students.
The GCSE program allows the study of such sciences: information technology, business management, history course, English language, design skills (+ graphics), mathematics, biology, art history, chemistry, complex combined subjects, French, geography, physics.
The program was formed taking into account the choice of specialization for higher education. Certificate A-Level will allow to continue the acquisition of the profession at the university without exam. The program is taught in most English colleges and stably meets high quality standards.
Academic fullness of A-Level is the same for different educational institutions. In the classes, the main emphasis is placed on the saturation of the teaching material, the depth of the study of subjects.
For two school years, students pass 4 subjects in the first year and 3 in the second year. When choosing disciplines within the framework of specialization, teachers are recommended to pay attention to the balance of academic sciences and not include in the subjects studied similar in the field of problems. Upon admission to the university, students continue to study these courses to obtain a profession.

DeMontfortUniversity invites to the training of the Foundation graduates from the BrookehouseCollege, as there is a partnership agreement between educational institutions. But with a Foundation diploma, an entrant can choose any university.
Learn English foreigners can also in the summer, without detaching from the educational process at home. Summer courses allow not only to improve academic English, but also to have fun and unforgettable rest. Brooke house College from July to August invites students to a course of study and recreation. Races last from 2 weeks to 1.5 months, depending on the student's wishes.

The students, Who choose English Plus Activities, English Plus Golf or English Plus Riding receive 15 hours of study per week. Students who choose English Plus or IELTS Preparation receive 27 hours of study per week.

The school offers accommodation in the residence and in host families.There are 5 residential buildings of separate accommodation. Children are in residences under the supervision of adults in 24/7 mode. Each block has a curator. Boys, girls live in 1-2-bed rooms with private facilities. In addition, teens can use the kitchen, laundry. For relaxation in the residences are equipped with cozy living rooms with TV, video player.
At school, children are offered three meals a day during school hours and two meals a day on vacation. Foreign students can be on the territory of the school as they see fit. Supplement for the stay of a teenager on vacation is not provided.
