Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University (KrasGAU) is an institution of higher education that trains specialists in the agricultural industry. The university was founded in 1953 in the format of an institute of agricultural orientation, in 1994 KrasGAU received its current name. Now about 16,000 students study at the university in bachelor's, master's, postgraduate and secondary vocational education programs.

Training takes place on the basis of seven institutes in the following areas:

Seven dormitories accommodate foreign and non-resident students. First of all, full-time students are allowed to settle in, then part-time students for the duration of the sessions, applicants for the duration of the entrance tests. Subject to availability, guests of students can stay in residential buildings.

  • Sectional-type buildings are sections of eight rooms, each of which is home to two students. The sections are equipped with toilets, a common kitchen. Showers are located on the first floors of buildings.
  • Apartment-type dormitories are 17 double and triple rooms with toilets and kitchens. Showers are also located on the ground floor of the building.

On the territory of residential buildings there are sports grounds, a medical center.

The cost of a monthly stay is about 600-800 rubles. per person.

In inter-university competitions, the honor of the university is defended by student teams, national sports teams, vocal and dance groups. Five representatives of the patriotic movement krasGAU participate in the regional headquarters.
