ISU was formed on October 27, 1918.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, research work, educational and pre-diploma practice.

• Study of the mechanisms of reactions of acetylene and its derivatives catalyzed by superbase;
• Search for new natural compounds with biological activity and function;
• Development and testing of new methods of environmental monitoring of aquatic ecosystems;
• Creation of new products and technologies in the fields of experimental physiology, neurobiology, microbiology, bryology, and pharmaceutical biotechnology;
• Integration of specialists with classical, medical, agricultural and technical education.

ISU provides nonresident full-time students with 16 dormitories with 515 beds (in total). The cost of living (rental fees, utilities, additional services) is up to 2800 rubles per month.

For catering, the university has canteens and buffets for 716 seats.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, ISU organizes and participates in the following events:

The process of ISU formation is carried out in 36 points, equipped with computer classes, diverse (lectures, streaming) classrooms, laboratories and specialized classrooms.

Students are given free access to 10 libraries with 838 seats.

For sports, the university provides the following sports facilities:

At ISU, the learning process is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each of them, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

When studying at the university students undertake the following additional expenses:

For admission to the university, applicants must provide:

  • Philosophy.
