The St. Petersburg branch of the Higher School of Economics was established on April 7, 1998. The Higher School of Economics is a national research university whose scientists make a practical contribution to the construction of a new Russia. Graduates of the university work in leading Russian and foreign companies, in government bodies, and are engaged in research work in scientific organizations around the world.

The learning process includes:

The St. Petersburg branch of the Higher School of Economics provides 5 dormitories for 1466 beds. The cost of living is up to 1220 rubles per month.

To organize meals for students and employees, the Branch is equipped with 6 coffee shops and 5 canteens for 470 seats in total.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, the St. Petersburg branch of HSE University organizes and participates in the following events:

The education process at the St. Petersburg branch of the Higher School of Economics is conducted in 5 educational and laboratory buildings. Each building is equipped with: lecture and seminar rooms, small (language) classes, rooms for self-study, classrooms for scientific activities and computer classes. Classrooms are equipped with video conferencing devices, whiteboards, projectors, computers, interactive whiteboards.

Students are given free access to 4 libraries with 303 seats.

For sports, the Branch has 3 sports halls.

At HSE's St. Petersburg branch, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after which students are given a vacation (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

2. Successful completion of the creative test (at least 60 points),
3. Points received for the exam are not lower than:

For admission to master's programs, you must:

• Interview.

For admission to postgraduate programs, you must:

1. Completed higher education,
2. Successful completion of the entrance test:

• Special discipline (maximum 40-50 points),
