St. Petersburg State Maritime Technical University (SPbSMTU) is a technical Russian university that trains mainly marine engineers. Unofficially, students and teachers awarded the university the nickname "Shipbuilder".

This institution is the only one in the country where world-class specialists are trained in the design, operation and construction of ships, warships, submarines at three faculties.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Korabelka students live in three dormitories in rooms of 2-3 people.

The monthly cost depends on the season, the form of eduaction and ranges from 1096 to 3000r. The amount includes utilities, rent of premises.

Activities St. Petersburg State Maritime Technical University

All events in SPbSMTU are led by the university council, the student council, the student trade union committee. Students have the opportunity to participate in several thematic associations:

At Korabelka there is a college where schoolchildren can get secondary vocational education. For students of grades 10-11, preparatory courses in the leading disciplines of SPbSPMU programs are open. All applicants can attend Open Days.

Future bachelors, specialists should be provided with:

  • Application for admission, familiarity with the charter of the university, consent to enrollment
  • Certificate of completion of 11 classes of school, evaluation sheet
  • Copy of passport
  • Documents entitling to special rights (benefits)
  • A copy of the electronic diploma of the winner / prize-winner of the Olympiad of schoolchildren

  • Results of the Exam.

Applicants for master's and postgraduate programs must provide:
