Godolphin School Language camp Kaplan International

The summer camp of the famous educational company Kaplan International in the prestigious boarding school Godolphin School (Salisbury, UK) is held for students from around the world aged 12 to 17 years.

These are interesting combined programs that give an opportunity to improve their language level and to spend time with pleasure at leisure and sports events, learn something new, learn more about the traditions and history of Great Britain, find new friends from other countries of the world. The courses allow children with any level of preparation, from Beginner to Advanced - for each the optimal program of instruction in a class with a similar level of knowledge will be selected.

Students are provided with living rooms in common student residences or in host families:

1) Family: double room and shared bathroom, meals three meals a day (boarding). A suitable option for students who appreciate the warm atmosphere of this house, want to learn more about the traditions, the history of England and the British, to see their national and domestic characteristics. In addition, living in a family is an excellent opportunity for active language practice - after all, your interlocutors will be direct native speakers of English! Students from 13 to 17 years are provided with all the facilities for a full rest.

2) Residence: bedroom for 1-5 people with private bathroom, meals - full board (three meals a day). This is an excellent option for sociable, independent and active students who seek to find a lot of new friends and quickly improve communication and speech skills. Residences are open for children from 13 to 17 years old.

Salisbury, despite its compact size, is a very interesting city from a historical point of view and a developed site for various cultural events, festivals and celebrations. The cozy streets, keeping the spirit of medieval England, seem to be called for long walks, and local markets, antique shops and shops are great for shopping.

In addition, not far from Salisbury is the legendary Stonehenge, the riddle of which scientists can not solve for centuries and whose age is more than 5000 years - and this is only by rough estimate. Visiting this most interesting historical monument fascinates and invariably attracts student and tourist groups. Also organized are trips to London, to the university centers of Oxford and Cambridge, to bright and distinctive Brighton and Cardiff. Also very interesting is the Salisbury Cathedral, Warwick Castle; You can visit the Salisbury Playhouse Theater, salsa courses, a pirate party, participate in a kayak or barbecue. In general, one long excursion for the whole day and two for half a day are planned for each week of stay, and in the evenings and after lunch there are interesting and various leisure activities, holidays, competitions, quizzes and discos.

Students of the summer camp are engaged in the prestigious, well-known boarding school Godolphin School: they have the entire campus infrastructure (including a common cozy cafeteria and a spacious pool). Usually, classes are held in the main building of Fowlers Road, and the buildings and premises of the school are also used. Martins (mainly for students who chose accommodation in host families).

In total 26 classrooms with multimedia equipment and all the required furniture have been prepared, there is a spacious and comfortable room for rest. Equipped with its own swimming pool, theater and tennis courts, numerous sports grounds (both indoor and outdoor). There is a modern computer class, all over the territory there is a high-speed Wi-Fi.

The camp works not only in the summer months, but almost all the year round: winter shifts are held from January 3 to February 13, spring - from March 27 to April 16, summer - from May 29 to August 27. Residence accommodation for students is available from July 3 to August 13, on other dates accommodation in host families is offered.
