Embassy Brighton Sussex Summer

  • Embassy Brighton Sussex offers two-week shifts, including 4 trips to Brighton, 2 half-day trips to other cities such as London, Canterbury, Windsor, 2 full-day excursions. Transport for travel: private bus / public transport. Students attend classes in the morning or afternoon in the first week, alternating thereafter weekly.

Brighton, a multicultural city known as London by the Sea, welcomes students of all nationalities with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The center is located on the famous University of Sussex campus, just a short bus or train ride from the city center.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Embassy Brighton College offers participants in summer shifts accommodation in single rooms with a bathroom, designed for a block of 4-6 rooms. Furniture includes a wardrobe, desk, chair. Laundry is available for a small fee, each apartment has comfortable kitchens, a common living room, Wi-Fi throughout. The bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas are cleaned weekly.

Pupils live in full board, food is served in a spacious dining room:

  • Breakfast - hot dishes (pancakes, sausages and boiled eggs) and / or continental breakfast (juice, coffee, toast, cereal, fruit).
  • Lunch, dinner - two types of menus with three options of dishes, including vegetarian / halal.
  • Packed lunches are available on weekends: water, fruit, sandwich, chips, chocolate.

On the first evening of the shift, a welcome event is held, allowing students to get to know the staff and other students: they will learn more about the campus and its capabilities, receive other useful information.

Activities are organized between classes and in the evenings, are held at the camp or near the center.
