École Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications (Telecom ParisTech)

The École Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications (Telecom ParisTech) (abbreviated ENST) is a state-type educational institution that has been active in scientific and academic work since 1878 in France. The main building of the university is located in the city of Paris in a small university campus.

The program Mastère Spécialisé Intelligence Artificielle – Expert Data & MLops includes project work ("projet fil rouge"): students apply the knowledge they have gained in conditions close to real ones and work in a team.

• a Télécom Paris graduate in the "Communication Systems and Networks" field became a Nobel Prize laureate in Physics,
• a doctoral student of the school received the best student paper award at the ICASSP 2020 conference (academic supervisors — Roland Badeau and Umut Şimşekli),
• Frédéric Grillot, professor at Télécom Paris and the University of New Mexico, received the Innovation Awards in the US for a patent in the field of optics,
• a student of the school took part in the France Cybersecurity Challenge (FCSC) qualifying competition in cybersecurity for a major European contest,
• in July 2026, two doctoral students of the school became laureates of the department's best dissertation award, Prix de Thèse IP Paris,
• in April 2026, the work of a doctoral student of the school on the development of the InSAR method for Sentinel-1 satellite data was recognized by the journal IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters.

Since May 2018, Télécom Paris has been developing the Python library Scikit-network — an open-source tool for analyzing large graphs, including social networks, web graphs, and relational data.

Télécom Paris has entered into a partnership agreement with Science Accueil, an organization that helps international students with finding furnished housing, visa and administrative matters, French language courses, and cultural events in the Paris region.

Accommodation options include the CROUS residences Eileen Gray (Orsay) and George Sand (Gif-sur-Yvette), the partner residences All Suites Study and Hacker House in Palaiseau, the MEASE and MPF residences of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris international student campus, as well as furnished shared houses from the Mansiones Coliving service in Orsay with rooms for 8-10 people, where the monthly fee includes utilities, cleaning, and housing insurance. The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris international student campus has sports infrastructure: 2 stadiums, a gymnastics hall, a swimming pool, 8 tennis courts, and a gym.

Télécom Paris is home to the student video game club Télécom Gaming Club (TGC), which took part in the final of the IMT E-Sport Series tournament.

ENST is a university that every year is included in the list of TOP 80 best French universities, and also consistently replenishes the list of the TOP higher education institutions at the global level.

This is a small-scale institution, where 2,000 people study every year. The university is actively involved in student and faculty exchange programs. 

University infrastructure

Students have access to a huge library. Also, all students can get a place in the university dormitory.

• the registration fee for students of the engineering program for the 2026/27 academic year is €3,600 for citizens of EU countries and €5,700 for citizens of non-EU countries (non-EU residents with a temporary residence permit and tax household in France for at least 2 years pay the rate for EU citizens),
• the Campus Life Contribution (CVEC), mandatory for Télécom Paris students since 2018, is €105 for the 2025/26 academic year. It is paid before registration annually, and if enrolled in several programs in one academic year, it is paid only once.

In September 2026, Télécom Paris admitted 140 new international engineering students.

Simultaneously with the results of previous exams, it is necessary to provide data on the applicant's progress in a timely manner in order to get to study at a university. The selection committee always accepts applications from both local residents and foreign students.

Tuition fees at university

Each academic year in this French institution is traditionally divided into two classic semesters. In addition, each student can save in course price by obtaining scholarships with good academic performance.
