The British educational organization Celtic English Academy is now called Celtica. That's not all that has changed: the centers will now offer integration programs with schools, cultural tours, and a special football course run jointly with FC Cardiff City. In addition, there is a new summer school with a residence.
The largest English language center in Wales had long planned to change its positioning: not just an English language school, but a cultural education center, with accessible internships and even professional development programs. For international students there are useful integration programs (Immersion): foreign students can study alongside local pupils in British secondary schools, feel part of a single community, and experience the convenience of the British education system.
A new residential block will be built in Gloucestershire, on the grounds of Wycliffe College — it is planned to be put into operation in the summer of 2027, so Celtica will be able to host more students on seasonal holiday programs.
Celtica has operated in Cardiff since 2004 (at that time it was called Celtic School; in 2014 the name was changed to Celtic English Academy. The centers serve as exam venues for Cambridge English, Trinity College London, and LanguageCert, and are accredited by IALC, AFS, and other relevant organizations).
