What advice would you give to potential students before applying to an university?

Be proactive and start your application early, ideally almost a year in advance. Seek recommendations from your teachers and academic advisors. The earlier you apply, the more time universities have to consider your application, and the more time you have to explore your options and make an informed decision.

Advantages of the IB program in Montenegro

The IB Diploma is recognized in most countries around the world, including the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, and Singapore. Completing the program sometimes even allows applicants to enter directly into the second year of university; for example, in the USA, some IB programs can be credited towards the first year of university or college. The top universities in the UK, including Cambridge and Oxford, equate the IB to the English A-Level certificate.

It is also important to note the value of networking opportunities. Students can meet peers and professors from around the globe, creating opportunities for future collaboration in academics and professional fields, as well as for developing personal and professional contacts.
