MEDICINE AT CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE

Students receive practice in the chosen field, medical knowledge and English skills. In addition, they receive tips on studying medicine at the university, take part in full first aid training. ENGINEERING AT CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE

The Summer School of Engineering in Cambridge is designed for children who are fond of exact and natural sciences, want to study mechanics, thermodynamics and aerodynamics, electromagnetism and other subtleties. Chemical, civil engineering, mechanics, electrical engineering, environmental protection – the topics will be dealt with in a wide variety of ways!

The Summer Academic Natural Sciences Futures is ideal for students who want to learn how the universe works! This is a program for enthusiastic science, persistent students. They will study the fundamentals of chemistry, physics and biology – the lessons will allow you to see the connections between these disciplines, their interaction with other sciences, teach flexibility and independence of thinking. Work in laboratories, on scientific experiments will help to develop useful skills, communication and cognitive abilities - this will be useful in further training and in building a career.

The program includes work on a week-long scientific project, which is devoted to one of the problems or tasks of the XXI century, visits to real scientific laboratories (with lasers, supercomputers), to industrial factories, communication with the best representatives of different directions and professions, experts.

A useful option of the course is the help of a consultant on admission to universities. With it, you can learn how to write a strong entrance application and motivation letter, choose priority universities, practice passing an interview, determine the enrollment strategy based on the subtleties of the requirements of different universities.

Architecture

• Duration: 2 weeks.

The two-week program is perfect for students who want to immerse themselves in the direction of "Architecture", are interested in it and want to learn more about this profession. This is a great option to start preparing for admission to architectural specialties.

Students will learn a lot of theory and actively practice (in particular, during the Time to Shine group projects, culminating in a large presentation). The very environment of Cambridge will help students, inspiring them and giving them opportunities for growth and development!

Psychology

• Duration: 2-4 weeks.

The new two-week program will provide valuable academic experience and the opportunity to work out, study the basic and fundamental concepts of psychology as a science. All this will be an ideal preparation for those high school students who want to choose psychology as their profession, preparing to enter this specialty in universities.

Art & Design

• Duration: 2 weeks,
• Minimum level to start: B1+ (Intermediate),
• 25 hours per week (including language support),
• Up to 15 people per class.

Studying art and design at Cambridge means opening the way to a successful creative future, improving oneself as an artist, international recognition and cross-cultural collaboration. Students of all skill levels come here, from self-taught beginners to experienced creators who hone certain techniques: there is something useful, practical, and interesting for everyone on the course.

The effectiveness of the course is ensured by a combination of theoretical study of the subject, a large amount of artistic practice and language support. Thus, students will be able to develop critical thinking and communication skills in addition to creative skills. The training course is dynamic: there is a place for the study of sources, interactive lectures, work with nature, and seminars with general heated discussions. Children are also helped by invited specialists who come to the summer school with seminars and lectures, project work, public speeches in front of their classmates. In addition, a meeting with current specialists is also an opportunity to "feel" the industry, to understand which areas are now more in demand, which specialists are being sought and waited for.

The course structure includes:

During the two-week course, participants of the program will have two projects as part of Time to Shine events. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge, prove yourself, tell your classmates about an interesting topic, and improve your public speaking skills, overcome stage fright, and hone your spoken English.

1. A recreation of an iconic, famous work of art. You can use any means and methods to understand the styles and techniques of recognized masters, to be more deeply imbued with the history of art.
2. Creative installation and exhibition. This is a chance to try yourself as a curator and develop a special exposition on the topic of a contemporary problem. In this way, students will be able to understand and appreciate how contemporary art affects the problems of society in the 21st century, highlights them and helps to solve them.
