Berlin International is a state-recognised university of applied sciences with a global outlook located in the heart of Berlin. Our programs are taught entirely in English and have been accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities. We seek to provide an educational environment in which students are encouraged to realize their individual potential while also learning to work in an interdisciplinary and collaborative context. The University of Berlin International University of Applied Sciences does not provide accommodation for students, therefore, the issues of nutrition and accommodation for the period of study young people need to decide on their own.

On the territory of the Berlin university, students have a rather rich extra-curricular life: they take part in the social activities of the university, the celebration of national and calendar holidays (Christmas, New Year, Day of German Unity) and not only. Also during the day, young people have the opportunity to devote time to sports or cultural development - all suitable places for this can be found in the central part of Berlin.

Berlin International offers six undergraduate degree programs and two postgraduate degree programs within the faculties of business administration and architecture and design, all of which are taught in English. Upon completion, students will receive either a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, or Master of Business Administration. Our international university team of educators draws on a diverse range of teaching strategies and contemporary research methods to create well structured degree programs that encourage close collaboration with peers as well as focused individual project work. Each of our programs is accredited and meets German and European quality standards.

• Programs in English. Internationalism and the creation of an appropriate environment holds a special place at the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences. That is why the main language of interaction and learning here is English. Additional language courses are also offered as electives.
• Practical implementation of knowledge. One of the priorities of the university is to provide students with innovative and practical education, which in fact will improve their language and cultural skills. The ratio of the number of teachers and students allows the latter to receive support or advice from mentors on any subject.
• High research potential. The university also pays close attention to the development of scientific research. For this reason, the university cooperates with many other institutions, creating joint research projects in the field of design, economics and social sciences.
• Graduates as a part of a global society. The university Berlin International University of Applied Sciences brings together students and teachers from several dozen countries on its territory, and has integrated education programs. All this is intended to prepare the graduate to work and be a sought-after specialist in the global labour market.

The University of Berlin International University of Applied Sciences is located in the heart of the city. Berlin is one of the most interesting and cultural cities not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. Here, foreign students will be able to visit many cultural sites: collections of world-class museums on Museum Island, two zoological gardens, a botanical garden, and three opera houses. In the center of the city you can also find galleries, clubs, cinemas for fun.

For lovers of sports, there are also a lot of events here: these are games of sports teams widely known not only in Germany, but also throughout Europe - the football team Hertha BSC, the handball team Reinickendorfer Füchse, the basketball team Alba Berlin, the hockey team Berliner Eisbären.

Modern and spacious campus is equipped with computer labs, workshops, and a well-stocked library–everything our students need to excel in their studies. Students have access to a range of modern technology and tools to assist them in their projects. Alongside lecture halls and generously-sized seminar rooms, the campus also has a range of smaller rooms where students can focus and complete group work. In addition, ther is a cafeteria where students can take a break and enjoy their meals between classes.

What happens next?

1. After receiving your application, the admissions team will assess your eligibility to study in Germany
2. Architecture and design program applicants will have their portfolios reviewed
3. Qualified MBA, architecture and design program applicants will have a 15 minute interview, conducted in person or via Skype
4. Upon approval of your application, an offer of admission will be made

Berlin International offers scholarships for students (including foreign students) that allow to get a 25% tuition discount. The scholarship is for one year and includes the winter and summer semester.

To apply, the student must prepare the following documents:

• Reccomendation letter with the characteristics of the candidate
• A copy of the certificate of secondary education (for first year students)
• Statement of progress (for students of the 2 course and beyond)
• Portfolio (for students of the direction "Design").

The criteria for the selection of candidates for scholarships are high academic performance and motivation. Applications for benefits are accepted in the first two weeks of October each year. Review results are announced after 4 weeks.
