BUKEP was founded on June 20, 1978.

The learning process includes:

BUKEP consists of 4 faculties:

• Economics and Management,
• Juridical
• Customs and Information Technology,
• Public catering and merchandising.

• Resource determinants of regional development in the context of the task of ensuring economic security,
• The mechanism of crisis management in the service sector,
• Theoretical and methodological approaches and methodological tools for the formation and implementation of project management in state and municipal management,
• Strategic management of the effectiveness of consumer cooperative organizations,
• Theory, methodology and conceptual foundations of the formation of the value of various property objects in the assessment of the equity capital of organizations,
• Research and development of methods of financial management of the enterprise in modern conditions,
• Formation and development of consumer cooperation,
• Cooperative movement as a factor in the socio-economic development of society.

BUKEP conducts international cooperation with the following organizations:

BUKEP students who come from other regions and remote areas are provided with a place in one of 4 dormitories. The total number of seats is 1266. The cost of living ranges from 2,000 to 3500 rubles per month.

For meals for students and staff, the University is equipped with a canteen, buffets and a café for a total of 446 seats.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, BUKEP organizes and participates in the following events:

• Olympiad "Customs Operations and Procedures",
• Youth Forum "Moral Imperatives in Law, Science, Education and Culture",
• Hackathon "Career in Russia",

The educational process in BUKEP takes place in one building. The educational building is equipped with classrooms, laboratories and workshops. The classrooms are equipped with computers, projectors, interactive whiteboards, thematic stands, specialized equipment and software, plasma panels, etc.

Students are given free access to the library, the reading room of the dormitory and the point of delivery of literature for persons with disabilities.

Sports facilities:

At BUKEP, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

For admission to BUKEP, you must provide:

• Confirmation of individual achievements, the results of which are taken into account when admitting.

• Confirmation of passing centralized testing,
• Confirmation that the applicant belongs to the persons who are granted the corresponding special right.
