The Australian city of Gold Coast has launched an additional support program for international students - a grant of AU$1,000 is available to foreign students this year.
The Experience Gold Coast project has been working since the end of February. Its main task is to reduce the financial burden on foreign students and help them quickly adapt to Australian environment and the rhythm of life. There are no restrictions on spending money, so you can use them to pay for both educational materials and a walk around the city.
The first 250 foreigners who enter Australia from May 1 to November 30 and meet the criteria for competitive selection and verification will be able to receive a grant.
