Hotel and Tourism Management
For more than a decade, Aspira's International Hospitality and Tourism Management undergraduate program has prepared students for managerial careers in tourism, hospitality and hospitality.
Recognizing the growing demand for highly qualified professionals and the ever-changing nature of tourism, faculty experts have developed curricula focused on three specialized areas of study:
- Management of directions of organizations and companies
- Hotel Management
- Gastronomy.
Each program is designed for three years and consists of two semesters per year. In the third semester, students can choose a specialty, the sixth semester is entirely devoted to full-time practical classes.

Croatia is successfully gaining the status of one of the fastest growing Mediterranean destinations for gourmets. Its growth and development is based on rich gastronomic traditions, as well as on the growing offer of a variety of restaurants with a high-quality selection of local gastronomy and wines. Training in this area requires highly qualified personnel trained to create high-quality products that keep pace with the latest developments in the preparation and presentation of culinary techniques in accordance with the requirements and needs of the tourism market. Graduates receive a Bachelor of International Management in Hospitality and Tourism (BSc Econ) degree in Gastronomy.
The curriculum is designed for three years (6 semesters) and is implemented as a full or part-time study.
Computer Engineering
The Software Engineering curriculum was created in collaboration with experts and employers, aimed at teaching students the most relevant software techniques, focused on practice, applied business in the field of computer science and computing.
The emphasis is on working in small groups under the guidance of a mentor, working on cases, individual development and obtaining practical knowledge on real examples.
The training lasts 3 years (6 semesters).
Sports Management
The sports management vocational training curriculum consists of core subjects and electives offered, which may be a good choice, but may be replaced by elective courses from other study programmes or other higher education institutions.
Master's Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management
The Master's programme in Hotel and Tourism Management is a course focused on the international tourism market with an emphasis on the acquisition of practical knowledge and skills applicable anywhere in the world. Students get the right to practice in prestigious hotels, travel companies and organizations, restaurants, have the opportunity to acquire knowledge that gives them an advantage in the labor market.
Thanks to an individual approach to learning, flexibility and practical work, the master's program combines theoretical and practical levels, educational experience, develops the potential of students. Aspira University College was founded in Split in 2008, is a private non-profit college that organizes and conducts professional research in the field of sports management, computer science, software engineering, international management in the field of hospitality and tourism, hotel and tourism management.
The history of Split dates back 1700 years, then it was chosen by the Roman Emperor Diocletian as the place for the construction of the resort. Diocletian's Palace is under the protection of UNESCO and is a unique example of how the palace became a kind of place of power. The city is located in the warmest part of the Mediterranean, at the foot of the Mariana Forest, around which there are beautiful pebble beaches. It is rich in tourist and gastronomic offers, sports and cultural events.

Activities Aspira University College
Aspira University College offers students a variety of extracurricular activities. Their goal is to encourage students to communicate and develop their strengths, improve the quality of life.
- The sports club gives all students and teachers the opportunity to play sports in their free time, unites all students regardless of what kind of curriculum they attend. All members of the club have certain privileges in the use of various sports facilities of the city.
- The Aspira Gastro Club offers interested students the opportunity to receive additional education in the field of gastronomy. The purpose of the club is to give students the opportunity to learn something new and have fun: various lectures and seminars cover topics related to trends in the field of nutrition, the wine industry and many other culinary problems. Lectures are accompanied by examples from practice, chefs and other representatives of the gastroscence try to convey their experience to students. Club members have the opportunity to attend local gastronomic events, explore the international gastronomic scene.
- Aspira PR Club brings together interested students who want to gain knowledge and skills in the field of PR as a modern public relations task. Members of this club have the opportunity to develop their skills, take part in professional lectures and master classes, get acquainted with real examples in practice under the guidance of a coordinator. They will also learn how to coordinate PR activities with the overall marketing strategy, the goals of individual organizations, get acquainted with the rules for writing PR messages and the functioning of the media.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
For undergraduate students:
- Completed secondary education
- Knowledge of English: TOEFL (minimum score 500) or IELTS (minimum score 5.0).
For applicants to the magistracy:
- Completed undergraduate studies (holders of a bachelor's degree)
- Knowledge of English: TOEFL (minimum score 500) or IELTS (minimum score 5.0).
English level B2 is required. If your previous education was not in English, then any certificate of language proficiency, such as TOEFL, etc., is welcome, but not mandatory. An alternative is to provide a certificate of English proficiency from your home country.
Enrollment procedure:
- The applicant fills out an online application.
- The applicant sends by e-mail the following scanned documents (copy of passport, proof of citizenship, documents on completion of bachelor's / master's degree, proof of English proficiency, resume, motivation letter).
- Applicants undergo an entrance test interview.
- The college sends a letter with a conditional offer.
- The student pays the entrance fee and sends notarized copies of education documents to ASPIRA by mail. ASPIRA coordinates the procedure for the recognition of diplomas.
- Tuition fees: The student pays the full tuition fee for the first year as a deposit.
- The student will receive an official letter of enrolment confirming the visa application.
