Abbotsholme Private School in the UK invites students to a new program – Elite Football & Education. This course was a joint project of the school and the International Academy of the Football Institute (IOF). Both local children and foreigners can get into the sports and science studying program in September this year.
Basic information about the new course:
- Age of students: from 13 to 19 years old.
- The studying will take place on a 56-hectare campus in Staffordshire.
- Teenagers on the course will be deeply involved in football: study theory and practice skills obtained. In parallel with sports, they will take classic academic programs of their choice: GCSE, A-level or NCUK Foundation.
- Students will have the opportunity to leave the school walls not only with a diploma of completion of education, but also with a coaching certificate or a scouting FA document. If foreigners want to build an international football career, then this dual curriculum is the perfect chance for them.
- The FA Coach and Scout Certificate will increase the student's chances of receiving a sports scholarship at universities in America.
The British school's partner, the Football Institute International Academy (IOF), has been nurturing successful footballers since 2007. During this time, more than a hundred IOF wards received work contracts from professional clubs, more than a thousand received football scholarships in the world's leading universities.
