The curriculum focuses not only on improving basic language skills, but also on the development of specialized, specific skills necessary for building a successful international career:

The sports program is aimed at beginner tennis players who would like to improve their physical skills and playing knowledge in order to continue training at a more professional level. Classes are included in the schedule of the main course, whether it is a standard English program or a business course, take one hour of active training per week. Students study in small groups or alone with a teacher to personalize the sports plan and get maximum attention to their abilities.
The main coach of the tennis program is a member of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) with many years of experience in his own achievements and teaching activities.

This versatile course is the best opportunity to effectively improve all the key skills of the English language:

The program accepts students with a beginner level from Pre-Intermediate (A2): students are divided into groups according to the initial level of knowledge, which makes learning more comfortable, faster and more productive. One lesson takes 50 minutes: classes are held in the mornings, twice a week in the afternoons, so that students have plenty of time to explore London, sightseeing, relax, leisure and socialize. Particular attention is paid to the development of oral speech, spoken English - this helps students in a matter of days to overcome the language barrier and hone their pronunciation, freely communicate with native English speakers in any real life situations.
The cost of training depends on the format of study: full-time or with accommodation. Adapting to the student's goals, the program offers flexibility in choosing the duration of study. Students can choose an elective that will take place in parallel with the main curriculum:

For all cinema lovers! A special course that will help you take a step into the world of professional cinema. Students will learn the features of storyboarding, the rules of writing a good script, try to use sound in different ways in the video sequence, learn how to choose the right locations for filming, consider different shooting and editing techniques - all this will be useful to them in shooting the final short film, which will be appreciated by industry professionals. In addition, this course is a great opportunity to try yourself as an actor!
Presentations & Public Speaking

This additional course is perfect for those who want to develop self-confidence, competently and inspire public speaking. Students will work a lot with voice and body language, learn to build chains of bright and clear arguments, create and conduct presentations.

An excellent summer academic course for those who are ready to study on vacation, as they are aimed at entering prestigious English-speaking universities and colleges. On the course, students will consider university methods of study (and they are very different from the usual school ones!), they will work out different types of tasks - oral and written, individual and group.
A separate advantage of the course is special training, training before difficult exams. Students will be able to pass a mock interview, look at real examples of tasks from previous years, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and develop a personal strategy that will help them pass the exam with the highest score.

A great vacation course for those who want to get the most out of their summer holidays! The special course is not so much about learning English from textbooks in the classroom, but about new emotions, impressions and getting to know London. Students of the session will follow the creative path of legendary musicians, in whose personality London played an important role: Adele, David Bowie, Queen, Amy Winehouse, Stormzy, and many others. They will also consider the stories of legendary creators of other art directions: Tracey Emin, Alexander McQueen, Sir Norman Foster. The sports heritage of the British capital will not be ignored - from the legendary Wembley and Wimbledon to Lord's Cricket Ground. And, of course, it will be especially interesting to consider the features of modern London, its subcultures — from BMX and skate to graffification (Banksy is a must!) and grime music (new English grunge).

A suitable course for those who plan to connect a career with business and rotate in the international business sphere.
Classes are organized in the morning and in the afternoon: 09:00-10:10, 10:25-11:35, 11:50-13:00, 14:00-15:55. These are both intensive English language lessons and interesting electives that you can choose to your taste:
- Communication skills,
- Cambridge exam preparation,
- IELTS exam preparation,
- Job search and successful employment,
- Individual classes and consultations (the topic can be any),
- Grammar and Writing.
In general, the course is set up so that the student masters business English: its special vocabulary, the structure of written and oral speech, and immerses himself in the features of business etiquette. There will be a lot of practice with creating presentations, debates and discussions, role-playing games, real cases from business practice and current media will be sorted out, trial interviews will be arranged for students, and the secrets of successful networking will be told. Homework will be given out every day (for about 2 hours of individual study).
In addition, students will work on soft skills that will be useful to them in any career direction: competent management, problem-solving skills, teamwork and leadership qualities.

Founded in 1964, the Wimbledon School of English is one of the finest educational institutions in London and England to learn English for foreign students from all over the world, one of the country's oldest language schools. The educational institution is accredited by the British Council: various commissions have repeatedly confirmed the highest quality of teaching and qualifications of teachers, the competence of the administration and the excellent equipment of the campus. Educational process
Pupils follow a schedule that includes language lessons, free time, excursions and collective campus activities. Approximate weekday schedule:

Students of the Wimbledon School of English are offered a choice of several options for comfortable and safe accommodation.
- Host an English family
In total, the school cooperates with 320 English families, which were carefully selected and constantly checked by employees, and whose houses are located no more than half an hour from the school campus (most of the houses are within walking distance). Students are offered mostly single, fully equipped and furnished rooms: if students travel together (for example, members of the same family), they can select double rooms. There are several options available:
- Standard room - with shared bathroom or with personal
- Increased comfort (personal bathroom, walking distance from the campus)
- Independent option (self-service: meals are not provided, but you can cook in the home kitchen).
Students can choose (in addition to self-service) boarding or half board meals. It is also possible to choose a family with a similar level of English: the school also cooperates with those families whose members are not native English speakers, which can be more convenient and comfortable for foreign students with a low level of knowledge and skills.
- Student residences-dormitories
Here, students can also opt for themselves:
- Haynt Walk, South West Wimbledon district (20+ years) - 10 minutes by bus to school or 30 minutes by foot. Private rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen.
- Kings Lodge, Wimbledon district (18+ years) - to school 10 minutes on foot, near metro, many shops and cinema. 1-2-bed superior rooms (with private bathroom), equipped common kitchen.
- Malcolm Road (20+ years) - just 2 minutes walk to the school. Cozy rooms with shared bathroom (there are 1-2 rooms with personal amenities), a modern shared kitchen.
- Queens Lodge (30+ years) - 10 minutes walk to the school or the center of Wimbledon. Modern luxury residence: private room with private bathroom, spacious common kitchen with the latest equipment and household appliances.
- Rent apartments, hotels and hostels
The school accommodation department will pick up a suitable apartment for you in the nearest area (the fee for the selection of accommodation is 50 pounds sterling). Also, cooperation with several cozy, comfortable hotels is established, where there are places for students of language courses:

Please note that double rooms are only available for students traveling and studying together (for example, members of the same family).

Enrolment process
Those wishing to spend their summer holidays at the WSE must fill out an online application form and provide personal documents. The admissions committee will invite candidates for an informal interview and a language test, according to the results of which students are divided into groups and begin their studies.
