University Pathway Program

  • The minimum level of English is Advanced (TOEFL iBT 60 / IELTS 5.5).

The OHLA University Study Program allows international students to automatically enroll in multiple university programs throughout the United States. A team of experts prepares students for university studies, guides students towards successful admission.

Pathway provides students with the opportunity to prepare for college by getting information, doing exercises that make academic requirements clear, and removing common barriers that can stunt student progress. Topics: resources, teaching methods, writing skills, critical thinking skills, motivation, self-efficacy. Particular attention is paid to group work, mutual learning.

International Year

  • The training period is 1-3 quarters.

The International Year program is designed specifically to prepare international students for a bachelor's degree at Western Washington University. The course lasts (depending on the student's level of English) from one to three quarters. During this time, students will study a range of academic disciplines, including English, mathematics, finance, dance, and more. At a low language level, each of the students can take additional classes consisting of listening, reading and writing, conversational practices, before the start of the International Year or in parallel with it.

The program provides the help of a personal consultant who will help the student choose the courses that suit him and get from 20 to 35 credits counted in the future bachelor's degree.

Doctoral Programs

To date, WWU has one program open leading to a doctoral degree — "Educational Leadership": it is intended for candidates for positions of heads of educational institutions and district administrations, including deputies of heads, executive directors and other persons holding leadership positions at the level of district administrations in the USA and Canada. Completion of the curriculum takes up to three academic years, during which the student must master 87 academic credits.

The program is divided into two stages: lecture-practical with attendance in classes and individual research, involving writing a term paper.

Large dining halls with their own kitchens operate on WWU academic grounds, where qualified chefs prepare national and international cuisine dishes. Here you can find both full hot meals, as well as pastries, sandwiches, various drinks and sweets. There are also fast-food outlets on the territories offering a wide variety of quick snacks.
