Rivier University was founded in 1933. Today, it's ranked among the most famous in New Hampshire. The University of Riviere offers studying in more than 30 specialties. They train specialists in business administration, biology, mathematics, English philology, art, history and political science, education (secondary, special), sociology, psychology, modern languages, in particular Spanish.

Short information. A preparatory course for those wishing to study at a bachelor's degree in any of the specialties offered at Rivier University. The program is taught at Wheelock College, after which students can either stay in college or enroll at Rivier University or any other partner university.
About the course. UTP is a classic combined course of pre-university preparation. It includes subject and language blocks. Disciplines of the first are chosen in accordance with the direction of study at the bachelor's degree. In subjects, students can earn 24 - 32 credits for the course of pre-university preparation.
The language block provides for the study of English for the realization of academic goals. Students are taught language in its American version. The English course allows you to effectively prepare for the TOEFL, increase the level of knowledge necessary for admission to the Bachelor's program.

Most foreign students live on campus. In the residences students are offered 1 - 3-bed rooms with private facilities. It is also possible to live in blocks. For 3-4 rooms they have a common bathroom, kitchen, rest room.
Food at the university can be organized on the principle of self-service, half board, boarding house. Serves students a comfortable dining on the campus.

Extra-curricular activities at the university are regular. Here students have the opportunity to go in for sports, visit clubs of interest, play at discos and parties. The daily program is presented by excursion activities. At the University of Riviere, students are recommended a large number of routes and destinations. First of all, they can visit Boston, a city included in the TOP-50 mega-cities of the world in terms of size and standard of living. Also, foreign students are offered tours of New England, one of the most interesting regions from the historical point of view of the United States.
In the preparatory courses, students are offered afternoon classes. Afternoon and evening time is reserved for electives, organization of leisure.
The campus in the central New England district covers an area of 68 acres. Here there are educational buildings with classrooms, laboratories, library, computer center, dining room, 4 residences. Also, the Rivier University infrastructure is represented by the intercollegiate sports club, a consulting center, a multicultural office (for students of different ethnic groups), a career development center, and religious sites.
