The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program combines academic coursework with clinical experience and training using state-of-the-art simulators. LPN to ASN classes are held in the evenings, and students may choose a weekday or weekend clinical placement when scheduling allows.

The Office of Career and Life Success provides personalized advising and helps students find internships, prepare résumés, and build professional connections. Through Handshake, students can find internships, job opportunities, employer events, and other career resources.

Most foreign students live on campus. In the residences students are offered 1 - 3-bed rooms with private facilities. It is also possible to live in blocks. For 3-4 rooms they have a common bathroom, kitchen, rest room.

Food at the university can be organized on the principle of self-service, half board, boarding house. Serves students a balanced dining on the campus.

• Degree in 3 allows students to complete an applied bachelor’s degree in three years while taking the same core and major coursework,
• the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing is designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another discipline and can be completed in as little as 16 months,
• the Doctor of Psychology in Counseling and School Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association.

The campus in the central New England district covers an area of ​​68 acres. Here there are educational buildings with classrooms, laboratories, library, computer center, dining room, 4 residences. Also, the Rivier University infrastructure is represented by the intercollegiate sports club, a consulting center, a multicultural office (for students of different ethnic groups), a career development center, and religious sites.

Graduate admissions operate on a rolling basis, with programs starting in the fall, spring, and summer. Standardized tests are not required, and there is no application fee. Smapse specialists will support applicants throughout every stage of the admissions process.

During the first year of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, the university planned to enroll more than 200 students.

Rivier University promises undergraduate students that they will secure full-time employment within nine months of graduation. Graduates who do not find such a position receive additional financial or educational support from the university.

• graduate applicants must provide official transcripts from every institution where they earned undergraduate or graduate course credit, including the date their bachelor’s degree was conferred,
• academic records from outside the United States require a full course-by-course evaluation by an agency approved by NACES or AICE,
• applicants to graduate nursing programs need an active, unencumbered registered nurse license, an undergraduate statistics course, a résumé, and two years of full-time or equivalent registered nursing experience,
• applicants to the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner MSN and Post-Master’s Certificate programs must provide proof of Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.

All full-time undergraduate students at Rivier University receive some form of financial aid.
