One-year program is aimed at preparing students for higher education in English-speaking countries. It is not as profound and complex as the two-year A-level and IB, but it also takes less time, which allows the graduates of Russian schools not to lose a lot of time when translating for education abroad. Short-term training courses are offered to students who do not yet have a sufficient level of English for admission to higher education programs. For four weeks, 25 hours per week, students will participate in classes with an English-speaking teacher who will help them master the academic foundations of the language: writing, reading, grammar, pronunciation, speaking, vocabulary.

Organised by the Centre for Continuing Professional Development (CCPD) at Portsmouth University, the summer courses offer educational holidays to help pupils develop language skills, discover new opportunities and enjoy the historic seaside city of Portsmouth. 

Short-term programs are designed for students from international institutions to get acquainted with English culture and language by taking part in thematic classes. Pupils will study in the classroom, enjoy excursions and day trips to local attractions.

Dozens of different programs are available for study, updated every year. To date, the Summer School teaches:

The MBA program is offered at the business school: its duration is 12 months (full-time education only), the beginning of classes in September. Applicants must provide a diploma of higher education in related specialty (bachelor's, master's), resume and feedback from employers (need at least 3 years of work experience, as well as age from 25 years and older), and demonstrate a high level of English (IELTS from 6.5, that is, from 6.0 points for each section). In addition, the school may offer the applicant to take the GMAT test, but this is not an obligatory condition.

The Porthmouth University campus is located in the seaside town of Portmouth near Bournemouth and Brighton (the south coast of England), the journey to London takes about 1.5 hours. Portmouth is an unusually beautiful, cozy and well-groomed city: there is an old harbor, a spacious pier and a promenade for walks, where many restaurants, bars, cafes and hotels are located.
