Summer camp at the University of Greenwich is a language program that combines learning English, getting to know London and active recreation among peers from all over the world! Why Choose the University of Greenwich? For the high level of teaching and the unique environment in which students find themselves. The Greenwich campus is under the protection of UNESCO and is considered an important cultural attraction in London.
English classes are held in an interactive manner: teachers develop non-trivial assignments that fully involve students in the educational process. Particular emphasis is placed on creating the conditions for a motivated and inspiring mastery of English. During the lessons, students focus on 4 main aspects of language - speaking and writing, listening and reading. For an additional fee, students can take an optional course - Intensive English - and explore the areas of greatest difficulty.
The course is designed for students seeking hands-on experience while in England. For them, the educational institution finds jobs - 30 working hours per week under the supervision of a supervisor. The University of Greenwich offers places in shops and restaurants, if a student travels for 3-4 weeks - vacancies in the fields of pharmacology, architecture, accounting. The schedule includes evening activities and weekend excursions.
Course participants train at West Ham Academy under the guidance of coaches from the British Football Association. The entire course is held in English: this way students are completely immersed in the language and cultural environment. Students spend 15 hours a week training.
Summer camp students are accommodated in modern rooms with bathrooms and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Rooms are cleaned and bed linen changed once a week, and there is a laundry in the residence. The deposit for living in the residence will be £ 50. Wi - Fi is available throughout the campus . Students eat in a large canteen, which operates on a self-service basis. The menu includes breakfasts, full lunches, dinners and lunch boxes for travel.
The children will have a truly rich program of excursions, social events and entertainment. Summer courses include trips to London, its surroundings, walks and evening activities on campus:
On campus, students will have daily activities - movie screenings, discos, karaoke nights, quizzes and quests. If you wish, you can make your stay in London even richer by choosing optional courses and trips:
