Summer Camp: Bronze Programme

The Bronze Summer Program Rate includes weekly:

  • 30 hours of English lessons focused on improving speaking skills, grammar and vocabulary knowledge, vocabulary development,
  • Morning, afternoon or evening campus activities depending on the day of the week,
  • Full-day excursion to Glendalough, Powercourt with a visit to the falls,
  • Full-day excursion to Belfast with a visit to the Titanic Experience,
  • Half day in Dublin with a visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Ireland,
  • Half day in Malahide.

International students are surrounded by care, the support of qualified staff and are provided with everything necessary for a comfortable summer vacation: from accommodation in the residence and meals to a leisure program.

Summer Camp: Platinum Programme

  • Age - from 10 to 17 years old,
  • The educational period is two weeks.

The Platinum course offers students more opportunities to explore the sights of Ireland. During the two weeks of their stay in the summer camp, the following is organized for them:

  • Full-day excursion to Glendalough, Powercourt with a visit to the falls,
  • Full-day excursion to Belfast with a visit to the Titanic Experience,
  • Half day in Dublin with visit to the GPO Museum, EPIC, Dublin Zoo and Book of Kells,
  • Half day in Malahide.

The academic load is 30 hours of language classes per week, in which students will focus on improving their reading and writing skills, speaking and listening comprehension, knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Lessons are held in small educational groups, thanks to which each student will receive individual attention from the teacher.

All students are provided with accommodation in a comfortable residence, a balanced and varied food menu, an extensive leisure program of campus and outdoor activities.

Twin Dublin Summer Centre is an educational center offering rich programs for learning English, the culture and sights of Ireland. Twin Dublin Summer Centre accepts students from 10 to 17 years old with any level of English proficiency.

Every summer season, about 200 international students from different countries study in the Twin educational area. The multinational academic atmosphere allows students to learn a lot about other cultures, meet representatives of distant countries, and make friends. Students support each other in learning English by spending a lot of time together: in class, during campus activities and excursions, in residences.

Language classes at Twin Dublin Summer Centre are taught by teachers with the appropriate qualifications to teach English as a foreign language. Thanks to modern approaches to the educational process, additional support services, and an extensive leisure program, students effectively improve their language abilities, gain confidence in using English in everyday, academic spheres of life.

Educational process

Pupils spend several weeks in the camp, during which they live according to a clear schedule. The time is designated for all the important activities during the day: from getting up and breakfast to attending classes, dining room and going to bed. Classes are held for several hours a day, after which the knowledge gained is consolidated through excursions, communication with classmates, campus events.

Accommodation, meals, prices

For the duration of their stay at the summer center, students are accommodated in a residence that provides separate accommodation for boys and girls. Students are accommodated in bedrooms with shared bathrooms, seating areas, access to free laundry. Every day they receive a balanced and varied diet with a choice of several hot dishes, desserts and drinks.

Activities Twin Summer Centre Dublin

Each week, foreign students can expect half-day and full-day excursions. During their stay at the summer camp, students will be able to visit Belfast, Powercourt, Glendalough, Malahide, visit iconic sights, museums and entertainment centers. Off-site events are led by experienced staff who provide students with support and new knowledge in an interactive environment, responsible for everyone's safety and positive emotions.

Students will be able to choose one of two course options — bronze or platinum — with a different number of excursions and places to visit.

Leisure activities on campus are organized almost every evening: students interact with each other, participating in themed parties, karaoke, board game nights and other events.

Facilities and equipment at Twin Summer Centre Dublin

Education at Twin Dublin Summer Centre takes place at King's Hospital, one of the most famous boarding schools in Ireland. Its territory is located in the central part of Dublin and occupies about 40 hectares of wooded area, adjacent to many city attractions, entertainment and cultural places. King's Hospital, one of Ireland's most famous boarding schools, was founded in 1669. Overlooking the forest and the River Liffey, it is only 20 minutes from Dublin city centre. The nearest airports are Dublin Airport (15-20 minutes), Belfast Airport (2 hours), Shannon Airport (2 hours 30 minutes).

The campus has a diverse infrastructure, offering students not only language knowledge, but also facilities for recreation, sports, and creativity:

  • Rugby, football, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts,
  • Indoor gym.
  • Large fenced area with many green areas,
  • Cafeteria and dining room,
  • Classrooms with interactive equipment.

Local restaurants, Waterstown Park and the River Liffey are close to the centre.

Admission dates and extra charges

Courses at the Twin Dublin Summer Centre take place in June-July and have two admission dates. The duration of the educational course is two weeks, each of which is full of language classes, off-site and campus activities. The student's day at the center lasts from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., the schedule includes time for visiting the canteen, classes, activities and free hours.

The tuition fee already includes administrative fees, an entrance language test, a full range of study materials, accommodation and meals, the number of excursions in accordance with the selected tariff, and a graduation certificate. Additionally, you need to pay:

  • Deposit for booking a place on the course,
  • Compulsory insurance,
  • Additional activities or excursions (optional),
  • Airport transfers,
  • Personal expenses.

Enrolment process

Applicants will have to meet the representatives of the center, fill out a detailed online form and provide documents. SMAPSE local managers will answer all your questions and set a date for an assessment language test in order to determine the student in the appropriate group based on its results.

Perspectives

At the end of the course, each student receives a graduation certificate, which indicates language progress, hours of study of English and the current level of English proficiency.
