Middle School (Grades 6-8)

  • Educational groups – from 10 to 12 years old,
  • The duration of the educational program is 3 years.

As a part of the classes, international students are introduced to the Prep-for-Prep curriculum, which provides them with the necessary skills and meaningful knowledge to succeed in the high school program. In addition to core subjects, middle school students study additional subjects that contribute to the development of their creative and performing abilities, physical and social-emotional development, technology and research skills.

The high school program also aims to teach students self-study skills so that children are prepared for a more rigorous college preparation program. In math and language courses, students are assigned according to their abilities rather than grades, and international students are regularly taught alongside students from other classes of the appropriate level.

In 8th grade, students participate in a special project, Be the Change, where each of them temporarily joins a non-profit organization doing research and volunteer work, and then shares their experiences with classmates and families during the annual spring holiday. At the end of the school year, Grade 8 graduates are solemnly seen off in a ceremony that symbolizes their transition to high school: each of them is read a special quote reflecting their personal achievements in high school to celebrate the meaningful progress they have made.

High School (Grades 9-12)

  • Age of students – 13-16 years,
  • The term of study is 4 years.

High school students are cooperative and stimulate others by actively working on challenging course materials and topics. They are given attention in tolerance lessons, taught to exchange different points of view, promoting listening and mutual understanding. Thanks to a long study at school, many high school students already know each other, happily share a sense of constant development and pride in their own achievements and the success of their friends.

As foreign students prepare for college, they learn a set of skills that will be useful in all the different areas in which they want to work: organization and time management, written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and self-defense skills. Because of this, they can study more complex college study materials, interact with professors, and participate in research at a near-bachelor's level.

High school students are required to take courses in all academic departments throughout their time at Williams: Arts, English History, Modern and Classical Languages, Science, and Mathematics. Each student has a unique curriculum based on their interests and abilities.

Williams High School combines a rigorous curriculum with dedicated support from teachers, ensuring students are well prepared for college and the transition into adulthood.
